To start my salon what kind of lotion supply should I have on hand and where is the best place to get it?? Samples or any suggestions on lotions that always sell??

I personally order from T.W. and Heartland but you may find other places you like better.

What does your comp sell?

Are you buying an existing business?

I am buying an existing buiness. The only comp I have is several miles from me and does not have much of a inventory. Also I will not get the lotions that the one I am buying because he owns alot of other salons to use it at.

Go to the lotion area on the site and start reading everyone has an opinion on lotion. I can't tell you how much to start with.

What does he carry? It's not like every salon carries something different because there aren't that many brands. Are there not catalogues at the salon? Get them and flip through.

Fiji is my fave. Fiesta Sun smells good and will sell itself based on that, but it's not the best lotion.

Check the sales history at the salon and see what they sell the of...regular, bronzer or tingle.

I rarely carry bottles of tingle but your client base may really like them. Everywhere is different.
