| Still a Rookie | So now I need a middle range lotion line between $20-40. I carry the DC line at MSRP, including their Pure line. I have Supre lotions, BC, SC, Black Orchid, Crave, and Mirage. Bronze Candy and Secret Crush move, sell them at MSRP, but the other's don't. I thought about lowering the price a little, but I really want to get another line. What do you suggest? I tried some of the Fiesta Sun Tini line and liked the smell. Looking for a lotion for my back to school special staring in Aug. |

| Moderator/Arbonne VP | As I said in the other thread Fiji blend has some decent lower priced lotions, some under $20 even. Nice scents too. __________________ ![]() Please talk to me if you would like to bring a great line of skin care into your salon. CLICK HERE to learn more. YES! What you use on your skin DOES matter! Why do you sell a $20 bottle of lotion? Let them buy packets for $8 each time or upgrade them. 4 packets at $8..they might as well get the $40 lotion and save money. |

I don't always reorder right away when I sell out of the lower end lotions, either. I always try to push the more expensive lotions first(sell the crap out of Spellbound), but some walk over to the shelf & just choose one of the least expensive ie-splash line. Not all will pay $8 for a sample. Besides, if they don't use all the lotion, sometimes they realize they need to buy more tans when their package expires. win win to me |

The Honeydew Tini has been the best seller, then Rasberry twist after that. They are closer to $40 though. For $30 extreme charged sells really well. Just the non-bronzer though. I dont' sell anything for less than that. |

If your gonna sell cheap bottles just get em as small as possible. Our cheapest bottle is a straight or basic tingle, people have to pay extra for bronzer, silicone etc. Stuff like spell bound, 14 karat etc should be sold on their benefits taking into account the size of the bottles. Envy My - Dramatic Darkness by Matahari is about as cheap as we go, its a 175ml (6 oz) straight, still has a luxury type feel and smell. Add value in the product not the price. Bump up the price of your packets and you'll sell more mid range bottles. Most people aren't gonna care if your packets are $2 or $3 above standard retail price, just have a good variety. | |
