Tanners who will NOT buy lotion.

Do you have tanners, who say "Listen I have been tanning for years, and I do not use lotion, don't like, doesn't help me tan." These women are usually in their 40's and look like leather, they have attitudes that just won't quit. I have been killing them will kindness and smiles, but during Jason, I just want to tell them, I don't know what but something. Anyone else faced these women and won???

I won over a small percentage.

If I had the spare money, there is a poster child for good lotion and arbonne in my salon. NASTY, I'd really like to see if the stuff worked on her.

I'm in the process of putting lotion on only one leg to show my clients the difference. This is what I got after 4 tans in my base bed.



Not the best angle either, and my legs were smushed up against the chairs. But you can still see a dif. I'll update after more tans. I'm using DC's Supreme Power.

I just have no life so these are the things I get excited about. I'm at 5 tans now. I'll update the pic at 10 tans. After I shave my legs this time lol. Gives me motivation to tan to because otherwise I'd look like the little white irish girl in me instead of the italian girl in me. And thats no good for a tanning salon owner lol.

Plus I figure if I need my legs to be the same color for something I'll just spray the one leg. The difference is subtle in that pic but it is there. Anything to make some money during JASON.

Is that a bronzer though? Looks like it. So it doesn't count in my books.

no matter how hard u try, some people just wont. it is the people that say they dont and bring in the "NO NO" lotion that piss me off. However, if they bring people with them, I go through my spiel right in front of them and usually they will at least buy a packet. I make sure to tell them when the leave how they got awsome results and ask them "doesnt your skin feel great". It does not really accomplish anything, but it makes me feel good to do it in front of them.

I tell them they lose vitamins and nutrients from the exposure and the lotion helps to replenish that and tanning without lotion makes their session less effective.

The boys, I just tell them that they could pass a hot chick and they'll smell like ass. Then they buy.

It is a bronzer, but why wouldn't it count? I don't care what kind of lotion they buy as long as they buy. Color is color. You don't think it would motivate poeple to buy a bronzer?

But you could do that experiment and not tan and get the same results. You're showing the difference between a leg with and without self tanner basically....not the difference between lotion and no lotion. I hate bronzers.

It is easier to keep from getting wrinkles rather than it is to remove them!
If they already look like leather at 40, what will they look like in another 10 or 15 years?
