Default High Pressure

Does anyone see High Pressure beds really taking off, im in the UK and im sick and tired of all the bad press regarding sunbed use its really harming the industry and I have been given info on High Pressure beds which claims it is 66% safer than conventional beds due to the use of UVC as opposed to excess UVB..whats your thoughts???

Things ae going really well and we are leaving our competitors behind.

I looked at those as well. Just didn't do it for me I'm afraid.

Far too much distance between each of the lamp banks (only three on that model if my memory is correct). Means lots of moving about, IMO.

Not being funny..... but Instant Tan's spray machine was a complete flop. That's another reason that I was put off. Only thing I can say is that the staff seem really helpful (those I spoke to did, anyway). They are the new distributors for Sportarredo in the UK as well with the N-Joy machine (similar to the TurboPower).

We went fot the TurboPower for a number of reasons....

Helionova (Ultrasun UK) have been supplying and servicing 'sunbeds' for years. I felt more comfortable with this in case of a problem. In fact, we've had two minor problems and the engineers were there the next morning on each occasion.

The TurboPower blast away all competition in the UK market. The only thing's that are more powerful are the 360 degree HP beds like the Magic 636 and the Matrix L 'somethingorother' (can't remember now).

If they had a UK agent, I would have seriously considered the Magic. Frightened me away not having a UK agent, like I said before, in case of a problem.

Charge wise, we sell out TurboPower for appox £1.00 per min. Apparently, that's cheap.... but it's all we're going to get at the minute. People just haven't had any experience with machines of this immense power and won't pay anything more for the 'experience'.

Once we have a good 'core' clientelle for the machine, then we'll slowly creep up the prices.

Hope this helps a little.

btw, my location is in my profile......

Your most welcome.

Tanning Beds do not produce UVC they only produce UVA the tanning ray and UVB the burning ray. Rule of thumb is that most regular beds will put out about 5 to 6% UVB and the rest is UVA. The plus with a High Pressure is it only puts out .6 to 1.5% UVB making it almost impossible to burn in a 10 or 20 min sess. depending on the bed your in. HP beds also require you to tan less. So yes in the scheme of things it is a much healthier way of tanning

Default Waffle irons?

At first blush, high pressure tanning beds sounds like they close around you like a waffle iron and toast you up. Do you have any problems with customers thinking that "high pressure" involves actual pressure?

Default Iso Italia "MATRIX L33"

MATRIX L33
Hi all, I would just like to introduce the high pressure sunbed from Iso Italia.
Industry choice adward winner for the last 2 years (Favorite HP Sunbed: Matrix L33 - Favorite HP Stand-Up: Matrix V28) for the last 2 years.

Tried, tested and still nothing comes close to the performance, reliability and most outstanding looks. Don't be fooled, hp is not new, its been around for years, more popular in trhe states and europe. Iso Italia have specialised in manufacturing hp for many years, they have built up quite a reputation as being world leaders in hp.
Why not take a look!

Its all about education. If you explain the technology and how the equipment works correctly you should have no problems at all. Bottom line is HP tanning is a healthier way of tanning. Virtually no risk of burning and you build up a base tan in 4 sessions and maintain that tan with 2 - 4 sess. a month, you just cant beat that. That means at 3 sess a month your only doing around 36 sess. a year instead of 160 sess a year in a conventional bed. I cary the THP-24 from Tanses and it has out taned every Hp I've owned in the past 15 years. I started with ultrabronze and then a sunsport and chronos. If I haven't owned them i've used them and IMO nothing compares the to the Tanses equipment.

The king is a nice unit, but it felt unstable. The tanning surfave is contoured and really narrow (not a good fit fot the big'uns) Color was good from it, but it did have hotspots for me at least near my ankles and back.

Default Tanses

I have tanned in many beds and have found that the Tanses equipment is fast (7min) and gives the best results....I also know of a couple of salons locally that have had the units for over 7yrs and have had no problems...easy to maintain as well.

Convex looks like a good unit also. I can say the MasterSun is a nice piece as well, good ventilation, just the cartoonish looks are different.
