I have the hardest time with 4 bend acylics, wanting to break after a VERY short time of use. I have upgraded the acylics, they don't seem to last as long either. Is there a solution to premature breakage? It's very aggravating, because the cost is very high.

4 bends seem to be very susceptible to cracking. If the acrylic is too thin, it just won't take the heat and pressure very long. There is nothing the owner can do to avoid the breakage, its a matter of manufacturing and poor design. Only an increase in thickness can resolve the problem.
