Question Sollux 40.3

Have any of you guys had a problem with the acrylic in the Sollux 40.3 beds cracking? I had a problem with the upper acrylic cracking where the acrylic supports were moving and then when I went to change the starters in the bench,....(the starters are also a problem, the ones in mine started going bad about 8 weeks after I got the bed)....the acrylic cracked straight up the center and broke in half. The acrylics in this bed are way too THIN in my opinion. I had issues with the customer service as well. I hope all other owners with this bed had fewer problems than I have. I love the results the bed gives my clients, but I had a rust line on the canopy within 8 weeks of getting the bed due to a problem with the final powder coat I was told, I will be expanding next year and adding 4 - 5 more beds any suggestions on which bed to go for with a 12 minute session?

Sorry to hear about your problems with this bed... But I do have a temporary fix to stop the crack from getting longer.
Simply drill a 1/16th inch hole at the very end of the crack. This stops the crack from traveling any further. I also use a heavy duty (3M) clear packaging tape to reinforce where the crack was (wrapped over the edge on both side of the acrylic).
This will hold you over until your new acrylic arrives.

Use common sense here, the crack should not be more then 4" to 5" in length before you drill the hole. I don't want to read where you just fixed a 36" split in the acrylic.

Thanks for the advice, but it is too large for that. I had an acrylic with a small crack that I am using until the new one arrives. I will keep your advice in mind in the future for any small temporary repairs.
