So what your saying is it's not about the equipment....but being different TQ? What if everyone has really nice stuff...and all thats left is ETS? I'd join the others at that point....just saying. I'm not disagreeing with you...just stating a point..

Well after some time, my ProSun beds are getting used and abused during busy season. Seem to be taking a nice workout. Aimee opened up a salon many would kill to have and there hasn't been much negativity out of ProSun owners.

ProSun turned it around with the X5 and X7 series. My lumina Cs are on the chopping block in the near future. The X7 can be on the chopping block if Aimee can get an X10 in so i can try one.

Did you mean 3 SunSectors? If so, this is very similar to our set-up except we have the SunGate instead of the combo unit. Our stand-up is a Suncapsule. After 6-months of operation I'd have to say we're very pleased with the equipment and our customers love their tans.

Yes my mistake.

3 sunsectors.

we bought it that way and now have added a hydration station and an oxygen bar to fill up the remaining empty rooms.

If you are talking about bed brands, I do not have a ton of experience. I've tanned off and on my whole life, but just recently an owner. Our place is mostly Prosun. I'd rec them for the simply fact that they can take a beating. These beds receive alot of use and have never had down time. The also were not maintained as they should have been, but still no problems. Elite, are you really thinking of getting rid of the C's?????? I heard yours have tons of problems, I'll give you $250 each.....cash today, be there later afterhours to pick them up. You don't need to be there, I'll leave cash on the counter. Just trying to help you out......

You can be successful with any line of equipment. In my opinion based on being in this industry for over 30 years and being involved with equipment manufacturing for 13 of those 30 years. The Ergoline is a much better overall quality. That quality difference is reflected in the lower price of the prosun line. Either product will work in a salon. There are a lot of equipment choices and these two lines are just two of many to choose from. If price is an issue, buy prosun, if quality is an issue buy Ergoline.

News flash Steve. Aimee bought ProSun last summer and is doing very well with our line. If you mean that you get the best value for the price with ProSun, I agree. I would like to know when you have actually even seen and tanned in one of our X series beds? What salon was it at and when? If not, I'm really not sure how you can comment on quality.

So in your 30 years of experience, you actually think that just because equipment costs more it is of a better quality? Perhaps Ergoline just wants to make higher margins on their sales. Did you ever consider that?

Salon down the road has Ergo, can't say their clients are thrilled with them.

Steve you just keep losing your creditability here.

I would stick with ProSun. When buying our salon, they had ProSun beds. I had to do alot of research on them to determine the salon purchase. I honestly did not find anyone with negtive comments about them. They look great, are easy to deal with, and I do like the overall construction. They are sturdy yet not a beast if you need to move them around some. The prior owner did little, if any maintenance and they never had a problem. I am adding beds soon and looking for ProSun beds (sorry George not new though, not in the budget).

Thanks RCK, I appreciate your input. I think Mike and Rick have some used Luminas at their showroom in York. Feel free to contact them if you haven't already. (800) 786-7763.

Yep, they have one of my gently used ones that had less than 200 hours on it!
