That sumbitch runs HOT!!! Make sure you have really good A/C and circulation for the room it's in.
As far as lamps, it uses 4 1000w wire lead for the facials, and 16 500w wire lead for the rest of the canopy. The bench is 160w lamps. Changing out the lamps in the top is NOT going to be easy, as you have to take the cover off the unit. I suggest you have 2 people handy to help remove it. |

1999-2000 models actually had a 20 minute session on the sticker. Later models didn't change anything, but cut the time to 15 minutes.
A soft Cosmolux 160 VHO works great in the bench. Use Supra 500w HP for the body and Supra 1000 HP for the face cassettes. This is my Go-to bed for anyone coming back from vacation. 50mW for 20 minutes = 1000 on the4 DF (Drew Factor) for great browning!

Get the exhaust out of the room, and pump at least 1-1/2 - 2T of AC into the room.
Exhaust is routed through the wall up towards the ceiling I have 2 - 8" AC supplies into the room, one each at the feet and head of the bed, both down low.

Your right spark, they used to run it at 20 min. Personaly, 15 min was enough before the unit got way to hot.
I ran 160w HP (low UVB) reflectors in the bottom of mine, as I couldn't find a "soft" enough VHO that I liked. |

Have you moved it yet, that canopy is HEAVY. Springs wear out, pretty easy fix, once the top is off, make sure all the fans work good. I like to touch them to see how easy they stop, you don't want one quitting and you not know about it. Once top is off Lamps are easy to change out, cleaning the glass is PIA.

we moved it upstairs around this half turn staircase in our building and 4 of us were ok but it weighs a hell of a lot. I did make sure the most important thing was already to go Excessive amounts of cold beer was waiting once we brought it in and installed it in one hit after I had assembled the base. I did recieve requests for couples to share in a session as it a decent size but sadly had to decline their requests ![]() show the love |

Yes, you will have to remove the shell of the top canopy to gain access to the lamps. Have another person handy so when you have it all disconnected, you can each grab an end and remove it off the bed. Keep in mind that once you have it removed, the canopy will be lighter, and it will want to stay in it's up position, so have a weight or a prop rod to keep it down. While you have the top off, make sure to clean all the filter glass at the same time. Pain in the butt, but once it's done, you won't have to fool with it very often. Should take you about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to do it all. |

Top come off via very small allen heads, look like set screws. Look at the front rail running along the canopy edge, the small holes you see have little allens in them. then it just pops off. Remeber to turn on machine and check fans, no need to run a full session, just check each one and "touch it" to see if one is weak.
