Default Christmas Ideas?

Yes I am aware its not close but it tends to sneak up on us.
What are some ideas for this year?

Gift Card sales were down last year what are we going to do to boost those?

Advertising at all? Specials?

santa isn't really too far away.. Just bought that last chissy present yesterday...
I sell perfumes in the salon, gift baskets etc..

I make the gift baskets up with body products . Works great and they fly out the door..

Yes, I had the lip gelati in the salon a couple of years back sold really well. I haven't tried any of the other products though as I had other body products.

Try also.....buy a $50+ package and receive a $25 Gift Card for free. They make good stocking stuffers.

Buy a lotion and we'll double your gift card to $50.00....(or 2 x $25) if they want to give them out to 2 different people.

Last year I gave a free hand creme from Jaqua when they bought a gift card of $50 or more (www.jaquabeauty.com) I had a ton of them that they sent me for a thing I was doing.

I do twelve days of XMAS every year and it goes over really well......everyday for 12 days I offer really great specials and they get to pick an ornament off of the tree for a free sample lotion or moisturizer.....I get most of the free giveaways from my distributor. Last year I threw in a couple of IPODS so it went over really well. Oh I do up a brochure for it too if you would like to see it I'll send it to you.

Does anyone worry about the fact that they might have customers that don't celebrate Christmas? I feel like some might be offended. I usually do Christmas stuff in the salon. I'm just worried someone might be offended.

I have a few JW's and I still say have a great christmas.. They just shrug it of or laugh at me because they know I forget they don't celebrate chrissy.. I also run a little christmas raffle. everyone who buys some type of product gets a ticket and then christmas eve I get a client who is in at the time to draw it out. They love it , I just do up a basket of nice cheap products and a bottle of plonk.. It makes them come back to buy more stuff for more tickets..

Oh it's 1 ticket for each transaction...
