We actually closed both studios so we could relamp all equipment in 1 of our stores. 400 of them, so I actually spent money and paid 3 employees to help me

My best sales day ever was on Memorial Day. I used to do a BOGO post card to my database. I stopped after results didn't cover mailing costs a few years back. Now I close for all major holidays.

Might be worth another look to do holiday mailings. Lowest travel days ever reported for a national holiday was this past weekend. People are staying home and using local businesses to keep them busy...(atleast here they are doing this.)

Open, as always. Steady day. Some Memorial days have been really good. We only close on Mother Days, July 4, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day. I couldn't imagine being closed both Sunday and Monday for Memorial day. My customers would hunt me down.

It would be nice if all businesses, everywhere, closed for all these holidays and everyone spent time with their families. I remember groing up when it was a ghost town if you drove around on Christmas, but now all kind of businesses are open.
