What's the best way to pair up BOGO offers?

I was thinking any designer skin lotion gets a free moisturizer - as one of the weekly promo/specials.

We are doing a promo right now without the free.

Buy a bottle of lotion 8oz+ & get a package 50% off.

The 50% off packages are our 2 smallest point packages. I used them because they are the least discounted.

It helping us to move more lotion than we have been lately.

@Virgina Tan

I meant to also say that we do pretty well by offering a moisturizer 30-40% off with the purchase of a tanning lotion. Very rarely do they refuse- try to avoid free.

We off any tan extender at 50% off when a lotion is purchased. It has really picked up the extender sales this year.

Just saw this. Is this something you'd suggest doing all the time, or just during the slow periods? It looks like a great way to get people buying monthlies and keep them coming in! I'm also a little hesitant on the 50% part but if it brings in a pile of people then it pays for itself - right?

... and ... if someone buys a level 1 month then wants to renew at a higher-level, do you give them the higher-level discount or do they have to buy a month at that level first? Example: Joe Blow buys a $50 level 1 month then wants to renew at level 3 (regular $100). Do you sell it at 1/2 price ($50) or make him buy a full $100 month first?

Din, Do you put an expiration on the credit or it just stays on the acct until they use it?

Any unit if someone wants to renew higher or lower as long as they renew BEFORE expiration. We do the same, but it's $5 more than half(reg. $49 renew for $29.99 & so on). Because of this offer we stopped offering student discounts.

I don't, because it's only about 3-4 tans so they don't last very long.

but you could if you wanted to. The more restrictions, the harder to sell.
