Trying to totally redo our web site. I know there are sites for template sells for tanning salons out there. Anyone know a good place for tanning salon web sites?

forget tanning salon specific templates. Find one that looks good and edit it to what you want. Add your logo and your beds, and it becomes a tanning website.

Sure, I know tons of sites like the one you posted here, but if they already have templates, why not use one, since it saves 80% of the design work...............................

what does a "Tanning" website look like? Other than the words Tanning on it and pictures of a tanning bed. Can you not do that on any of the great templates you find on Template Monster? I'm not understanding.

Any tanning templates i've seen....look pretty gay. Do a search on tanning on Template Monster and you'll find them. They have tanning templates done. Look pretty gay.

I'd rather get one that says Beauty Salon or even Dairy Farmers Of America. and change the colours and slap my logo and i'm done.

Other than the titles of the pages....what else is going to be "already done" from a tanning salon website.

When you find it on Template Monster, the tanning websites.....are you going to keep it like that? NO...you're going to change it. So what's the difference? There isn't

Look for one that suits the layout you want, the amount of pages you want, the buttons and how they work....that's what you want...the main guts. not a pretty picture that you'll never use.

There is an example. The point is, if it is built for a tanning salon there is less you need to change. Saves a lot of time.

i agree with Din. and that example dosent scream tanning salon at all. at 1st glance it says vacation or beach to me.

templates are for people who CANT do the basics needed to create a website.

if your one of those people then thats fine i guess
if your not then why bother!

Not even close, the template is $59.95. That price is for their "exclusive purchase" which they say means no one can use it excpet you, which I don't believe, LOL

Look at the menu's, the flash design and how the buttons are. Not that it's "Tanning Oriented" all that can be changed in 20minutes.

The function of the website can't.

I'm not going to go through the templates and do the work for you...just showing you a couple samples.

I'm not understanding why you can't just change for example "Hair Styles" page to say "Tanning Equipment". There...now it's a tanning website.

Yes great deals on template monster but what about the editing software? Are you calculating that into your expenses or are you hiring someone to edit the flash?

I paid a buddy $200 and he edited it all out and put what i wanted in there. Took him 1 day.

Find some kid to do it. I'm sure you have customers that do it. Give them free tanning in exchange. BARTER.!!!!

As long as you change it, the colours, the images, the layout....then it won't be recognizable. The point is, he doesn't want to change anything. He wants it ready to go. That ain't gonna happen.

You have better luck then me Din. I tried to find a good flash programmer to barter but all I found were geeks that don't get out much let alone worry about a tan! lol

LOL CTM you need the flash version!

I can edit flash and recently did one from Template monster that I purchased but then my trial version of Adobe Flash ran out and I'm not in the mood to spend $700 for the full version. lol
