| Hall of Famer | Brian what kinds of problems have you had? I know they had issues with the upper acrylic in a series of luminas, and I have a used one of those here, but as far as the new stuff, I haven't had any problems with them yet. Mine never popped out and as far as I can tell it won't. I've tried to get it to come out As long as they work for me and my customers like them, that is all I care about right now. If i make it long enough to pull off another salon, would i go with prosun again? maybe, but i won't shut out other brands. It mostly came down to the support i was given right off the start. Only gripe with one new machine was this. We bought 3 brand new X5s, fully loaded, waited ages for them. The wait really didn't matter becasue my electrician was a real tool, anyways... one of the units has a smaller body fan. It is significantly weaker, I called them on it and they said well thats just tough, we changed the design and you got one of the old models. I wasn't happy and neither was my distributer, so they are fronting the money to get me the new fan whcih i have, I just need the new mounting bracket. I could have cared less if they all had the smaller fan or if 2 out of 3 were smaller, but customers go in this one bed and they are always telling me how much hotter it is. |

We have gone through several major design changes over the past 8 years. I think you can probably tell from recent posts and also from lack of our beds showing up in the "repair" area on this and other sites that most issues have been corrected. I'm curious to know which of the new X series units Brian has worked on. He must be basing his expert opinion on personal experience. Hope to hear from him again soon. |
