Default How do I find the best prices?

Hi! I am in the process of opening a tanning salon and would like some help finding the best places and prices for lotions, goggles, cleaners, stickers, etc. I have been doing research on the internet but I am not sure who is reliable... I am also wanting some advice on PL lotions... Thanks so much!

Everyone has their own personal experience and favorite distributors but a couple that come to mind that are willing to give you a nice price off of "salon cost" are Four Seasons, T.W. Tan, Tan International.

Honestly its something you have to find out for yourself. Try a few of the well known ones out. You can pit them against each other to get good deals. But the customer service angle really has to do with your rep...so you kinda have to test the waters there.

We had a complete moron as a rep one time...it wasn't the company...it was specific to the person they had assigned to us.

Anyway, PC Marketing and Four Seasons are my two favs.

Thank you blondjuls! I will start calling and see what each company has to offer... I mainly wanted to find out what you guys thought were the best because since I have been inquiring about tanning equipment, etc. my phone hasn't quit ringing with people - mostly morons - wanting to sell me something and didn't want to add to it by calling companies that aren't worth my time to begin with! Thanks again!

Try the Buyers Group. www.indoortanningbg.com They use 2 vendors and already neg the pricing for you. As more and more salon join the pricing keeps going down.

Also Heartland Tan www.heartlandtan.com (can order online), Salon Support www.salonsupport.com (can pull reports from online but can't order online.

You call distributors and you haggle with them. Once you become a good customer, they'll lower the price down for you. Some just want business and they'll give it to you off the bat even as a new salon owner.
