Default Gift Cards

For those that sell gift cards or gift certificates, where did you purchase them from? I'd like something that looks nice and I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Found some!
I was searching using the term "gift cards", instead of "gift certificates". Thanks anyway.

I use gift certificates (probably should use gift cards), but I have really black and white ones that I bought nice velcro gift card boxes for. I got them at Nashville Wraps. They really have nice stuff. www.nashvillewraps.com

Well, needless to say, Helios/Chase doesn't support using the cards without ANOTHER piece of equipment. Just found that out today. Looks like it'll be certificates for me.

What's the difference between a certificate and a Gift Card? One is paper, the other is plastic and more professional.

If Helio/Chase doesn't accept Gift Cards....how can it accept a certificate. And why can't the Gift Card not be the same as the certificate but look 10000 times better.?

Let me rephrase my previous statement:
The Helios/Chase set-up doesn't support mag stripped giftcards with out purchasing more equipment. The sales guy at Chase referred me to another POS equipment provider.

Oh, Helios supports the gift card/certificate program. It's just all a very manual and ineffecient process. You can't have cards/certificates expire in the software either. I was told "keep a log and check each one when presented". Nice.

So kinda like the "tell them to pay with cash" answer. It's use certificates or pay for more hardware and hope it works with Helios.

Din - her join date is Jan 2007. She may be one of the few that doesn't know the "back story" to Grip Marketing.

Solarmeter -- break out the pic of the guy mowing his own lawn!

Sunsally, we have been in the biz for more than 12 years but thanks. I like grip, they aren't slow with my turnaround time, just personal preferance I guess. Fill me in on the "background" if you'd like. May be interesting.

Nothing to do with how long you've been in the industry. Do a search on the site if you want. Alan just announced them as the first vendor he ever "banned" from being a sponsor!

Needless to say -- there have been many a thread about Grip Marketing -- on this site and all the others.

If you're the one still doing business with them - enjoy.

Now darn it Solarmeter -- where is my lawnmower man??

Obviously as each card is encoded differently and you'll need the scanner to do so.

OR

Do a barcode Gift Card and number them sequencially to log in book. As you already do for your Certificates. What's the diff?

It'll look more presentable and professional than a piece of paper.
