Smiley I think everyone is trying to say the place is not worth the cash he wants for it. for $75k you could start up your own new one small maybe but that would be a start ( not sure on prices of beds in US) one of the other guys here that has just set up a new one could probably help you out with that. remember I have no idea of prices in the US but someone could give you advice on that... No one likes to see someone get rippedoff. good luck

See when the units have zero value, all you're really purchasing is the client base & buildout. So no way should you even think about offering more than his P&Ls reflect.

Keep looking -- call some business brokers and see what else is on the market. There have got to be at least a half dozen or more salons for sale in the burbs this time of year...

maybe she meant combine the 2 years of net and sell for just under that.

Wasnt there a guy on here sometime ago looking to make his own tanning beds? Maybe sell the booths to him! He can use them as a prototype!

Smiley maybe you should look at starting from scratch. Find out how much it would be to buy the salon and replace everything in that salon compared to opening a brand new one. But again make sure you have heaps of spare cash. Someone here could probably help you out.

I wouldn't touch this salon for $30K. It looks like a dump and has old equipment. What Wicked said. You could do a decent buildout and get new equipment for less than he is asking for this.

And please read my other post in your other thread about coming here asking for advice. We are the owners that have BTDT. That is why you are coming to us. If you can't take the heat here how in the world are you going to own your own tanning salon, one of the toughest businesses out there????
