Arrow Heating & Air Conditioning - Tempstar TCA also the termostat is located in my unit. However the ac ducts go into both my unit and a hair salon. So i would be freezing them out and this would need to be addressed. Regarding demographics can i get them for free by calling the consultant you recommeneded? If so i'll do so tommorow. Who was it again btw? Last edited by hiii98 : 13th May 2008 at 10:33 PM. Reason: double post, please delete

Your space probably is using one of those. The requirement is 1 ton per every 400 sq. ft. of space. Now, for the beds: For every regular 100 watt bed in the 3000 watt 30 amp range is .5 tons per bed For every VHR bed in the 6000-9000 watts, 40-60 amps single phase is 1 ton per bed For every large VHR in the range of 10,000-13,000 watts 60-80 amp three phase you need 1.5-2 tons per bed for every high pressure unit in the range of 20,000- 35,000 watts 80-125 amp three phase you need 3 tons per bed You need a considerable amnount more of A/C then you have pictured and I bet the electrical panel is not up to the job of running that along with the bed requirements either. The beds in there now that you post require 5 tons of air plus the 3-4 tons you need just for space requirements so as it stands you are at least 5 tons short to start (and a couple more) (and I bet the farm that the space has a 200 amp three phase panel which will not be adequate either) you are short on power to install A/C to adequatly cool the beds let alone add upgrade equipment that would make this place profitable and a competition killer. |

| Moderator | Well if you had to pay for demo's I think you can afford it and it would be well worth it to make sure it is a good opportunity. ANyway, if Steve charges you or not, that is up to him. He has done it for others at no charge. SMU Consulting __________________ |

They will not produce the cooling needed to cool the space and the beds along with upgrades. Youir space is only utilizing one of these, not two. You are in need of a serious upgrade. Read back many moons ago when you said it was "Hot Hot Hot" like Buster Poindexter, aka, David Jo Hansen. Let's start to pay attention. |

| Moderator | NO, the tannign salon AND the hair salon are using them. Most likely it is set at 75 because if it is set lower, it will freeze up from over use. It cant keep up with the heat load. You have NO clue who you are trying to insult with your lack of knowledge. Seriously. __________________ |

| Moderator | So far you have personally insulted Brian twice for no reason. All he and ALL of us are askin is for you to do your homework and give us real answers. We get frustrated because you dont listen. But no where have I seen him call you ugly or that you have a small dick or anything of the like. You obviously are a small minded individual if that is all you can say to someone as a comeback. HOw bout coming back with real answers instead of stupid lines? __________________ |

The thermostat is just a switch. It is on or off. If you set it for a certain temp. then the unit will try to achieve that but if it is not capable (which it isn't) then it will continue to run and try and try and try and never get there. Setting the thermostat to a certain number does not tell the unit to use more or less energy to achieve that temp. Those units are not big enough for what you have now and they will not be enough to bring in real equipment. Thanks for posting real good pics cuz now it makes this easy. Only one of those units are cooling your space. Do you have two t stats in your space? if not then you are only utilizing one of those.

![]() I'm just saying redirect it so it's in his with the exception of one vent. Let the hair salon bitch that they need more or less. I doubt that landlord will dump money on more a/c. __________________ ************************************************** ***************** Grammar Tip of the Year - Apostrophes are for condensing and belonging...NOT pluralizing. ![]() SandiGirl ~ Changing tanning forums one apostrophe at a time.
