Free Lotion Samples

Let me say it again, IT IS NOT PUBLIC. it could be at the bottom of google. YOu think the companies sellin on here will make money off of joe or jane searching to find their tanning lotion cheaper?

I understand your point Mike.. I just don't see why the fact that this website has a very distinct and targetted membership should preclude the site's management from trying to promote their property as best they can in Google/Yahoo!/MSN etc..

I think it should remain open, it always was. There are ways around the private aspects if they want to get in anyway if it was set up like that.

Some disagree with me but there is no reason to make this site private. Just kick off the occasional public tanning visitor.

ok im scared to even ask this but is there a way to get free samples?
i am a salon OWNER however i am due to open at the end of august. i use to manage a salon but its been awhile since ive been in the industry.
i would really appreciate any knowledge as to what products work for your salon and is there a way i can try it without investing into it first. as you all know it takes a lot of money to start up, im opening before season so i doubt there will be much money coming in to make up for all ive already spent!!! im located in georgia in an area where there isnt any salon close to my location so im not any competition to you so please give me any lead or advise you have to offer!
since i see in many of your posts there are people who can read these posts that arent salon owners feel free to send me a private msg if u dont wish to disclose info to the public.

Lotion manufacturers will give out free samples, but not enough to stock your shelves with.

usually, when you purchase your tanning beds, the distributors will give you like $500 - $1,000 (retail) worth of lotions, sanitizors etc...

i do realize it wouldnt be enough to stock shelves and heartland(where i purchased beds from) is giving me $600 worth of lotions but they want me to stick with a particular group of lotions. i would like to try others as well.
Having said that how do i get the manufacturers to give out a few of their samples?

I just opened up my first salon,I am trying to find a good distributor for lotion and also replacement bulbs. I have different levels of ultrasun beds. Also is the Mystic Tan worth the money? Thanks

Also just my own personal opinion. This site should be for salon owners only. This site is for helping salon owners with questions but we are restricted to certain questions due to wondering eyes!

Contact the manufacturers directly and see what they can offer you as a new salon package. They'll probably send out some packettes for you to try, maybe even a couple full bottles.

Devoted Creations is an excellent lotion and company. Devoted Creations

They have a form that you need to fill out and they will send you samples to try.

It states on Devoted Creations website that Heartland distributes Devoted products.....so ask them for samples of Devoted. They have some great products.
