| Can anyone help me explain to our clients that hot beds are not necessarily going to give them a better tan. We have a lot of clients that insist on going in the Hottest beds, because the fell they get a better tan.We always recommend that our clients rotate through the beds because of the varivation between each bed. But our explanations does seem to make a difference. We tell them that the beds with the less amount of time on the lamps will provide the better tan. Any recommendations or suggestions Darkriver |

| Moderator | First of all...many of my customers want the same thing but for different reasons...They wanted it hot or warm and cover up with moist towels and use it to warm their bones in their back and they say it helps with arthiritis and back and neck pain.....But God forbid we are allowed to tell anyone that tanning beds are of any help in taking care of this sort of thing...but thats why most have asked us for the beds to be hot...had nothing to do with a better tan...but then some may think they need hot bulbs for that reason when in fact the real reason may be that salons don't change their bulbs and that may be why they think they will tan better with the bed warmed up already....so I have even told them I would heat up the bed but it would cost the same price as a tan per minute and have NO problem getting it...Good Luck..I hope this gives you some idea of why they may want it their way...Just like Burger King...Give it to em...Have a wonderful day!! And by the way, if your lamps are still putting out, they will emit heat. But heat in and of itself does not stimulate or increase the tanning process. Good luck. |
