Closed Tanning Salon Says It Will Refund Memberships

The owner of the "Heat Wayvze" Tanning Salon in Clay that shut down without notice Friday says he will reimburse customers who paid for memberships.

The owner tells NewsChannel 9 the landlord shut down the salon before the owner could sell it to another tanning business. He had hoped he'd be given more time to find a buyer.

Customers we spoke with say, regardless, they should have been given advanced warning.

The owner promised he will contact NewsChannel 9 later this week to give us a website address where customers will be able to go about filing for a refund. When we get that information, we will link you to that website right here.
