Tanning is symptom of whites' inauthenticity
White people are obsessed with tan skin. To achieve it they find no amount of risk unacceptable -- death is just the chance they take.
They will suntan, go to tanning beds, take pills, spray it on or buy anything else scientists can invent.
Skin envy has always been a problem for whites, because they long for the cultural authenticity of other races.
Tanning is not an addiction. It is a perverse psychosexual maladaptation.
Only by confronting race and its historical, ongoing use to exploit and kill darker people can white people free themselves from their self-inflicted mental prison.

I had a very distinguished older black woman come in and start a similar rant... keep the black man down and then try to make themselves look more black, how can you sell a tan when black skin is a curse, tans are from the sun not a white lady shop... and then when she told me she'd be the next mayor of the city and would close down all the tanning salons I knew she was a kook and shot her in the kootch with pepper spray, opened the door, kicked her out, and she fell in front of a bus and DIED.

Tanning is popular because people that have tans are those who are well travelled, which mean have money and can afford the good things in life. Presenting themselves like those type of people makes them feel good. So that is why they tan, not cuz they want to look like black people. I would have done the same kootch kicking thing as ^^^Suze^^^ did.....

Umm lets be truthful being tan never was about having wealth. Din where the heck you get that at? Now the story was funny what the person wrote, but tan meant you had wealth? What the heck, being pale meant you have wealth because it meant you didnt have to work in the fields and slave for your earnings.

What white people started seeing was (and this is fact read history books) that darked skined people were more healthy than white people. Also that when white people went to hot places and they got a tan they never got sick or ill as there counter parts.

Another fact (but a weird one) white women saw that there men was having sex and more turned on by these taned skin women and vise versa. So like the sayings says do like the jones do, and this is what they did.

It is just like in the older days when black people bleached there skin to look light skined so that the white man would take a liken to them and not get on them as bad as they got on darker skined black.

People dont care about the healing powers of the sun or tanning salons would make so much money because we wouldnt have 10% of the population (just whites) but the a big pie of the populations. People tan to look good period no one walks in and says I want that healing bed for $35.

Wake up white people tan to look light skined it makes there body look body plus makes them feel good and that just a added bonus.

Being pale meant you had wealth way back in the days when people tilled the fields and farmed their lands to make a living and eat. That was, shall we say, quite a few years (decades) ago.

Since the industrial age started, a tan DID begin to symbolize wealth. It meant you had the money and free time to go on vacations and play in the sun and on the water. Aristotle Onasis acknowledged this in a top 10 secrets to success list he once did.

Now a days, a tan doesn't really symbolize or mean much of anything because everyone knows it could be from the tropics, or it could be from the corner tanning salon.

As far as that moron black idiot, he's nothing but a sick, bitter, racist filled with resentment and envy who is trying to sound intelligent. I wonder if a White person who referred to Black women who get their hair colored blond as "obsessed psychosexual misfits" would get their letter published, or if they would be charged with some "racial insensitivity" crime instead and have the NAACP riot outside their house. Give me a break already.
