Man arrested for exposing himself at tan center

An Evansville man is due on court this morning after he allegedly exposed himself at an Evansville tanning salon.

Richard Bryant IV, 24, is facing preliminary charges of sexual battery and public nudity with intent to be seen.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed in the case, a clerk at Florida Tan Center, 2423 Washington Ave., called police Monday afternoon after Bryant walked behind the counter, touched her inappropriately and then exposed his genitalia.

Bryant left but told the clerk he would be back at closing and then returned at about 7:30 p.m., the affidavit said. He reportedly left the tanning salon but returned a short time later and was soon arrested.

Bryant told police the clerk asked him to come behind the counter and expose himself, according the affidavit. He reportedly said he went to the center to fill out an application.

Bryant is being held without bond pending the initial court appearance, which is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.

An Evansville man is behind bars after police say he exposed himself and fondled a clerk at a local tanning salon.

Twenty-four year old Richard Bryant is charged with sexual battery and public nudity.

Police say Bryant was in the Florida Tan Center on Washington Avenue around 7:30 Monday night when he went behind the counter and touched the female clerk in an inappropriate manner.

They say he also exposed himself to her.

He told her he would be back at closing time. When he returned later, she called 9-1-1.

Police say Bryant was sitting in the waiting room of the tanning center talking to himself.

He was arrested and taken to the Vanderburgh County jail.

Isn't this one of Larry Fleschner's salons?

Like they didn't have enough to deal with this week.

People are weird sometimes. Sounds like this guy had some "issues" as they say.
