Shame on you. Did you start the thread on the other site?? It says you did. If you didn`t, if I were you, I would really be pissed. Making fun of others is NOT your style.

Frankie:

I don't know what the heck you're talking about. I didn't have a computer with me in Nashville,. Let me go check the post ...

*UPDATE*

Yeah, I just checked that link out, Frankie, and I can assure you that the person claiming to be "Ribby" on that site is most assuredly NOT me. Reason being, I have not posted on that site, nor am I even allowed to (I believe), for the past three years, if not more, do to a disagreement over that site's policies.

Whoever posted as "Ribby" is surely an imposter, a fake-a** wannabe and most definitely not the REAL THING!

I hope your guys didn`t think I thought it was Ribby in the first place. Ribby would never lower himself in that manner. He is a first class act. Just like Ribby said a imposter, a fake-a** wannabe and most definitely not the REAL THING!

Being Solarmeter in the IST favorites contest is like being a Jock Sock in the favorite eyewear category. Geeeeeze.

"Let it go dude"... Ribby would say... "There can only be one". One what? I reply.

Oh well..... watch for my super new ad in the Nov-Jan issues (post JASON). Finally made it easier to understand - and no more "old" pictures of black-and-white meters.

Steve, bottom line - do you sell more meters than Brenda sells eyewear? Answer - NO. Second question - do you sell more meters than Annette sells the Tannie? Answer - NO.

That is why you lost.

So get out there and get noticed.

Haha - at least Frankie got an lol out of it.

Alan: My point exactly (sort of). Meters will never out-sell inexpensive "accessories" like the above. Never - no matter how "out there" they are.

Eyewear is required and Tannies or Jock Socks cost pennies relative to UV meters. They should not be lumped together in the same categories... and favorite eyewear even has it's own category. Yet it appears in all 3 accessory sub-categories.

If meters cannot have their own category (even though there are MANY brands to choose from on a google search of "uv meters") ... then at least they should be in some kind of "hardware" category along with timers, security cameras, whatever. Get it?

Steve, you have an obscure product that all salon owners need but only a few have. Percetage wise, not in actual #'s sold.

As for other brands, what other brands? I have never saw or heard of any other meter than yours for tanning or any industry for that matter.

Guess Alan & Ribby finally agree with me. They are speechless.

We'll see what the categories are next year.

Steve

You don't have a product that will win an award. Sorry pal, you just dont. You dont see lip balm creators coming on here saying "why cannot there be a lip balm category, we get beat out by lotions all the time". You don't see the people who make those The Bed is Clean signs on here complaining, do you?

Maybe this is all part of your master plan to take over the world. Get noticed by complaining about others winning awards. LOL!
