AUVL and UV Power have something going on maybe UV Power will take the whole thing. They are not in the U.S. market yet. someone call auvl direct and find out +49 (0) 201 / 84912-0 Last edited by danggirl : 30th April 2008 at 07:15 PM. |

UV Power and Dr Muller??? You better check your source. UV Power is in this market. Last edited by RobertK : 30th April 2008 at 09:20 PM. |

Dr Muller is a brand name owned by Twan/Future Industries in the USA used on tanning beds made by AUVL Germany. Sources tell me AUVL Germany closed their doors yesterday and ceased operations. Though AUVL probably hasn't actually put a bed together in the past few years, they have shopped out the assembly to companies that might pick up the slack, if they can make any money at it. Twan could put the Dr Muller name of a PL TA bed if he wanted to, it's just a brand on a glorified chandelier. The bottom line is that the tanning industry has one less high performance tanning system to purchase as of today. __________________ ......................Flashback 2001........................ If memory serves correct, the label is "(The) Original Dr. Muller" sp. or something to that effect, as in a sign I recall viewing in Orlando when both Twan and Leif were on the show floor with beds. __________________ ......................Flashback 2001........................ Dr Muller is just a name as someone pointed out on here. The name Dr Muller name is all over the Germany on things that have nothing to do with tanning. AUVL might have it trademarked in the U.S. but without anything to work with they will just sell the name just like last time. But if this is true this is a sad day and one less bed to work with. And I just saw the icon in a color other than red and think the color would of done great here in the states. |

| Salon Owner/Arbonne VP | I love, love, love my Dr. Mueller beds. We have not had even one issue in over 12 years with these beds. Cleaning and lamp changes is all. And they tan crazy good. This is a sad day if true. Kathe __________________ Kathe Ray ITA member 248.890.6968 Arbonne products make a great add-on sale to any salon. They are all made by a subcontractor and AUVL bought and marketed and sold them to Future, to Australia and South America. The same company makes all the KBL beds too. The Sub doesn't sell direct nor do I think they have any plans to. Last edited by Drew : 1st May 2008 at 12:03 PM. |

They have a new PL'd Bermuda Triangle bed with 4 different configurations. I'm sure they will get a PL'd bed from Ultrasun or someone else. __________________ |

Im also sure if AUVL closed there doors that Future was well known in advance and probably are trying to buy the name from them or have already done so. |

All my buddies that have been in Germany have never seen a KBL being even assembled anywhere, let alone in their fancy offices. Well, we know Suncapsule is assmebling some. What irks me as that some of you people bash some, protect some or other. Flying by the seat of your pants... It just shows that a someone like you RobertK (You did work for Twan Bentlage, CEO of Future, and got fired as I understand it?) just have it in for people that are more successful than you are. Grow up for God's sake. Spend more time on your s---t and maybe you will be happy and not pissy. |
