Nashville 2009 Mr International New Product Launch

Dear Members and Friends of the MR Firm

We are pleased to announce our 2009 MR International New Product Launch Meeting. This meeting will be held Friday, September 19th, 2008 at the Hotel Preston, Nashville, TN.

The meeting will start promptly at 7:45 a.m. and will conclude at 11:45 a.m. so that you will have plenty of time to get over to the ITA Trade Show Floor. (a continental breakfast, coffee and soda's will be served).

Many of you have asked for affordable accommodations for you and your staff while attending the ITA Show, enclosed are details on the Hotel Preston (a recently renovated property), which is located at the intersection of I -40 and Briley Parkway (about seven minutes from Opryland). We have reserved a Group Rate of $119.00 per night plus tax. The reservations are first come, first served, so I would make them soon, they had about 100 rooms available as of yesterday, but we assume these will go rather quickly.

We have had a really great year in 2008, the "I" Collection has certainly been a real winner! We have very exciting plans for 2009 and are looking forward to seeing you there!

Yes we are dues paying Members of the ITA. We also have financially supported the ITA Berman Fund.

In total, I estimate that 80% of our Salon Owners are also dues paying Members of the ITA. We also raised (in my estimate) just under 20% of all the monies raised for the Berman Fund.

We are also active supporters both morally and financially of the House of Representative campaign of Mr. Dan Humiston, Tanning Bed, Buffalo, NY.

We hope this answers your question.

We encourage all Salon Owners and their Employee Associates to consider supporting the ITA, the Berman Fund and the campaign of Mr. Dan Humiston.

Yes, we will send the Power Point within a day or so of the meeting. Sorry you will not be able to make it and also thank you for your support. I know we did well for you guys this year and are looking forward to next year.

We also are currently working on our web site for the lotion products (have the Only H(10)O Is This Good For You up and running. We will have a Salon Support Section on this site. Michael O'Reilly is working on this as we speak.

Thanks Max... Your products have done really well this year. I (aside from whipped butter and Dark Butter, probably your creations also...) I am MR International exclusive.

I can't wait to get my hands on some of the new stuff...

BTW... I just placed another order today and like the "less than case" quantities. It's good when I am running low, but a whole case is a bit much at this time of the year.

Because of this I brought on Pure Power to round out the Sun Skin Spa line...

There are less than 500 salons that are dues paying members of the ITA in the whole country...I suggest that your estimate is way off...Unless you have 400 salons that you sell to and they're ALL members. Isn't there supposed to be roughly 15,000 tanning salons in the USA? Let's say there are 10,000 tanning salons and 500 of them are ITA members...that works out to about 5% of the salons that are members. If there are actually 15,000 salons, then the percentage is only about 3.5%...

we opened a tanning salon this year joined the ITA not really seen any benifits of joining ive talked to them a couple of times on the phone not impressed so far

For clarification. We have 24 Member/Owners. Of those 20 are ITA Members. Those 20 have more than 250 stores.

We (MR International and Member Chains of MR International) also donated almost 50% of the funds collected for the Berman Campaign.

We hold our Annual Meeting on the same timing as the ITA Show to encourage Members, Suppliers and Invited Guests to attend the Nashville Trade Show as well.

We are proud supporters of the ITA, we stronly believe in what they are doing to support our Industry on the Legislative front.

I personally meet with John Overstreet at least once a year for a private update on ITA activities. Given his budget, John and his team are doing an excellent job representing us in Washington and around the United States as issues surface.

If you are not a Member, I strongly suggest you become one and get actively involved in representing your industry.

There are more like 25,000 salons U.S. nationwide.
