Default McCain-Palin

If this is true, I think it is just great.

She has a downs baby and is anti-abortion, so she shores up the base.

She gives the Hillary cougars the message that McCain, unlike Obama, takes women seriously.

She is pro drilling in Anwar and knows alot about energy.

She ran as a reformer and is anti-corruption.

I need to see how she handles herself on the national stage over the next few weeks, but as of this moment I have gone from mildly pro-McCain to wildly pro McCain-Palin!

I'm pro life, but wouldn't base my decision for president on it. It doesn't matter who you vote for, it all changes after they take office. Everyone has their own agenda.

Game On!

I'm watching MSNBC Haters. It's a televised liberal meltdown.

My gut reaction is she helps the McCain ticket.

Palin is the only Pres/VP candidate with Executive experience.

She is a hunter, a fisher, an athlete, a mom and a Governor.

Pro-life with 5 kids (newborn baby with Downs Syndrome).

YES!!! This is the best news I've heard in a long time. Sarah Palin is amazing and I posted a few weeks ago that I hoped she would be the pick.

She is pro-life and is a mom. Her down syndrome baby was born earlier this year and they knew in advance and had the baby

She went into labor outside of Alaska and flew home to have the baby.

She is a hockey player.

She is pro constitution - no matter her personal views she follows the constitution of the USA

She is pro gun

She has stood up strong against the good old boy politico's of Alaska and helped that state grow. She currently has an approval rating in Alaska in the 80's, something that cannot be said for our current federal government.

She is well spoken, a bear when it comes to standing strong for what she believes in. She will stand up against Biden with zero problems.

She is going to take the wind out of Obama's change message. He picked a good old boy from Washington. McCain picked a fresh Washington outsider with experience.

Her strong conservative values will ignite the conservative base and the Christian conservatives.

She also balances the McCain age issue.

Foreign policy. She has the Russian bear in her backyard and deals with them on a regular basis.

I was so-so about this election and now I'm completely behind McCain/Palin. This is the BEST news!!!!

OH and forgot the best peach of all. She is a woman which is much more ground-breaking to me than a non-white man. I think she is going to pull in a huge support from the Hilary camp. That is icing on the cake!!

i am not affiliated with a party but i am sick of hearing about obama being black and already tired of hearing about palin being a women.

i sure hope people aren't voting for obama because he is black and mccain because palin is a women. those folks just don't get the point of a political election and the power of their vote.

Better to deal with political realities. Hope won't feed you.

Obama is an empty suit.

I agree imhere. Although I think Palin being a woman will def work to their benefit, I think anyone who votes because of one's sex or ones color of skin should not be voting.

I just think the fact that she is a woman will offset the fact that is a non-white male. Makes the playing field even is all. Now we can get down to the real issues.

I'm sorry, but has everyone forgotten that there is an investigation with the legistlation of Alaska on her. Far be it, that this fact is being over looked right now.

I give her credit for Motherhood and all but she went from being a Mayor to Govenor and only is 2 years into her term.

I give her the credit for choosing the option of having her 5th child that is special needs.

Then again is she going to be more concerned about her childs needs when a crisis arises; then when it is the last minute of the game for the rest of us.

She doesn't have what it takes to be a president and for that fact alone should not be vice-president.

This reminds me of a show on TV a year or two ago where a lady was the VP, something happened to the President and all of a sudden she became president. Everyone was pissed because she was only the VP due to her being a woman which is what the President needed to get the female votes to get elected.

And everyone has forgotten that Biden had to withdraw from the 1988 primaries because he was caught stealing people's speeches and plagarizing in college. He is a liar and a cheater.

Actually, you haven't forgotten this...you probably never knew it to forget because the mainstream media doesn't talk about.

Way out in left field comes this pick. Sures up McCain as a renegade who doesnt always do what traditional Repubs want him to do.

McCain wins popular vote by 6%. Obama concedes the election ON Election Day, not in the wee hours of the next day or even day after that like some have went recently.

Watch the VP debates, Biden, no matter what he does is going to look like a woman basher moving even more Hillary maniacs into McCains camp. Only dirt they dig up on her is someone said she wanted her ex-bro in law to be fired from being a Cop. She went against Big Oil in Alaska of all places. I am surprized they didnt bury a dead eskimo under her driveway after all the waves she made against big corruption up there.

Obama did have, hands down, the best speech ever given by a Democrat after accepting the nomination. I was moved by it even though it didnt move me to vote for him. McCain has a lot to work on to compete with that speech. Thank God there are 3 debates.
