In my best Andy Rooney voice---
Have ya ever noticed that tantalk copies threads that were originally posted here? And have you ever noticed they almost cut and paste them and reprint them word for word? OR Sometimes they change a few words to make it seem like they are "their" ideas and comments.
I see my posts sometimes picked up by someone else and used there as if they are those persons original ideas. Has anyone else noticed that? Or is it just me...Or does that happen here too?

meh, i really don't even look at their site. never posted there, definately seems like a total negative there.

No one is original anymore but I have said it time and time again - this is the site the industry follows. Even the people that claim that they personally hate me seen to know every single post and thread by heart even though they "NEVER" visit here. How funny!

Most scoops break here because we have the most active members. More active members means more active threads.

There is alot of copying, almost verbatum, from here on the other wannabe sites. Sqwalk is just one of them. The other tiny sites are even worst I heard because they need topics so why not steal from the best. Feel flattered, I do!

Belve, welcome back. Long time no see.

You spend alot of time over there. Is the Xerox machine on overdrive over there or what? Sometimes it's like a thread gets started here and 2 seconds later someone has cut and pasted it and posted it over there. Most of the times they do not even change a letter or the subject line even. Plagerism at it's finest.

I noticed it a long time ago.

Sometimes the same person will post the same thread in multiple places. But I have a seen a few actually copy threads from here. I imagine they surf here and see a good thread and want to generate participation on their own site. So feel honored e.

Hi Alan - yeah, it has been a long time. I'm a little befuddled here as I have been unable to find the threads or posts esun is talking about. I know I had a taken a couple of things, not from here I don't think, but I credited the original poster and said that it had been posted on another site. We hvaen't ventured into "legal action" waters again, have we?

And the person I know who has done it bashes this site quite a bit and doesn't credit back. (not you my dear, you know I secretly love belvy) Anyway, I would take it as a compliment and be done with it. We all frequent the same places and have a lot of the same friends and same opinions, only natural it would pop up in more than one place.

I very seldom go there. There is a thread Industry Professionals. that I tried to get into and it says I do not have access. WTF is that .All the post were things I posted a long time ago.

I don't see what esun is talking about either. And I am everywhere. Generally what I see as the "same thing" posted on all sites is when there is industry news. Such as the lastest Max Recone or Hottie Body news. Sorry but no site can claim news as their original thoughts. Nice try to jump on the "bash TanTalk" bandwagon though....

JM you don't see it? oh, Tantalk is the bashing site. IMO
Its more than Industry news, just one example is they are even telling my bad jokes but changing the words around abit but still the same joke. 2 weeks apart so at least they wait a while , but still.
I see it all the time when I go there to try to learn something new.
I learn that I already heard it here!

And really, whatever site you go to, people are bashing the "other" site. So here there is a lot of TanTalk bashing and over there is a lot of TanToday bashing.

PS... I know a site where there is no bashing and no plagerism.

The bottom line is TanToday, my personal life, business life, etc has been front page stories on the other 2 sites that used to dominate.
