Sorry to go back to the unequal black opportunities but I am still irked about that.

Yes, my parents taught me respect and to work hard and all that to make me who I am today. So because you think that my parents didnt suffer when they were young, they are better off then black folks who did? Lets see, my Grandparents lost everything in the Great Depression, Mom and Dad grew up poor. Dad lost his father at age 6 and my Grandmother raised 3 kids on her own. Worked 2 jobs and managed to scrape by. Dad and Mom both worked as young kids to help with income. But they were white so they must have been better off than everyone who was black.

Ok, so if you reason that there is no level playing field is because my parents generation grew up with segregation etc, how do you explain thngs now? Now we have quotas of how many minorities have to work at a company and in colleges. There are plenty of ways to pull yourself out of a bad situation, black, white, hispanic, chinese, indian, whatever. USE THEM.

NExt you are going to tell me that we should pay reparations to all blacks for the wrongs our ancestors did when they were slaves.

Minorities have it easier than us. I'm stuck with 60K of college loans where the minority with the same grades or even lower would have had a free ride.

The playing field is level, hard work takes you to the top.

oh okay, I'll remember that the next time I'm in walmart and the lady in front of me is checking out her top quality steaks and then pulls out the welfare card. Proceed to see her outside in her nice caddy.

Many minorities chose to be one because hey, cheap housing, free food, and no job. WHAT A LIFE.

before you throw a fit, FIT, I'm talking more about inner city things than anything else. Many of these people are more than capable of getting off their A$$ to get a job.

What does it say that a thread about racism has several times turned into a thread about welfare, food stamps, cheap housing, people sitting on their ass?

as far as other minorites, lets switch it up a bit, close the damn borders off completely, if they don't come in the proper way, kick them back to their country.

Maybe because a majority of those on welfare are minority. So what. Am I racist because I point out the reality? Am I also a racist because I think that they should check Iraqi looking people and those with Muslim names at the airport vs lil ole grandma? It is just the reality is that those people tend to cause terrorism and minorites tend to be the ones using the welfare. Now notice I didnt say ALL minorites, just that if you look at the ratios, a majority will be black. Same as in prision. Most are minorities. ANd many of the crimes are black on black. Hey, if you dont want to be in jail, dont commit a crime! But you arent in jail because you are black. IF you dont want to be on welfare, then stop spreading your legs to every guy you see and stop poking every girl you come across. Ever heard of birth control? But why do that when you get a nice check from the gov't for food and shelter for each kid you spawn. And how about if you actually have a kid, YOU pay for it! Just because you decided to act like Johnny Appleseed doesnt mean everyone else should pay for your kids.

Where is MY free handout? I am part Cherokee and you white people came and took MY land! Then you shipped us into compounds and killed us along the way. Now we run casinos and drink our asses off on a little bit of Mother Earth. I AM part of the true minority but you dont see us asking for reparations and gimme gimme gimme. I was here before you AND the blacks and mexicans. Yet there are just as many of them here as whites but they are still called "minorities".

Oh yeah, I forgot. I dont even qualify as a minority Native American because I am only less than a 10th at this point in my heritage. So I dont count...
