Default Who does this...dog in washer

My husband called to tell me that our house was broken into this afternoon. Nothing was taken, we think our dogs scared them off but he couldn't find one of our dogs. They've been looking for about an hour...my son just found her in the washing machine! Our guess is that the smaller dog ran into the kitchen when they broke in and they put her in the washer then the big dog started barking and he scared them off. Nothing was taken...the police said they were probably not professionals.

I am guessing they did not turn it on? God I hope not.

If you are like us these little babies are just like people. Mess with my dog and you will answer to me. Hope she is fine.

I have no tolerance for a thief or an abuser (animal, child or any other). If caught they should be stuffed into a washer themselves and have it turned on...HEAVY LOAD/EXTRA RINSE/EXTRA SPIN/HOT WATER.

Update...Pepper seems fine, she stayed on my bed the entire evening and that's where she slept. She's pretty fiesty...our other dog is a 4 month old black lab, weighs about 35 lbs and he'd probably lick the robbers to death...lol

Wow, thats really crazy to hear. I would just be glad it wasn't worse, and they didn't take all your possesions. Altho things can be re-bought, family pets are a lil harder to replace. Some people out there are sick as all get out.

I've felt that way about a lot of people, but never my dog.

Police said they wouldn't be able to get any since everyone has touched the washer and they would be smudged and layered.

Another problem with our human race, they tend to think more of animals then they do humans. I know of people that would give to the animal shelter and not donate a thing for the homeless and hungry kids in this counrty. I love animals too, but please help both.
