We were very glad the we'd picked out our equipment (thanks everyone) and had figured out our financing prior to the show. I can't imagine trying to sort through all of they sales pitches from one manufacturer to the next. I don't blame anyone for trying to make a buck, but many of the booths had that used car dealer feel... I kept looking for the kerby vacuum booth to no avail.

I wish I could have gone but just got to busy at the office. I knew if I didn't go I would regret it. It would have been good seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

Live Country Music and FREE beer at the Light Sources Saloon now that was original. Nice looking Saloon to if its for sale I would like to buy it for next years pig roast a my house.

Brenda at eye pro has competition a company is knocking off her product and there sales pitch….its cheaper. Not better, not safer, not anything just it’s cheaper. I think I will stay with her how cheap can it get and how do they make it cheaper. Hell I like to save things anyway and so does Brenda I think I will keep sending my money where it does some good.

Nearly all beds now have the Euro look and price now.

Versaspa, they actually tanned anybody that wanted to use it live on the floor. They must have a winner no sunless company has ever had the balls to do that. I like companies that have guts it’s a guy thing. Want proof that’s its ready I heard they tanned 90 people on Friday.

$20 a day to park your car at the Gaylord. more expensive than at most airports…unbelievable No wonder the Lord is Gay he’s getting rich.

Teeth whiting...sorry but I don't want teeth the color of my house. Whiter is OK but WHITE is just plain weird looking, like 40DD knockers on a 110 pound girl. Just makes you want to stare for all the wrong reasons.

Ergoline should merge with ETS then they could be called EETS and have there own show they had half the show floor anyway.

Next year lets have a 60's party and get a Rock and Roll band, big barrels of Koolaid spiked with...well use your imagnation it couldn't get any stranger. Here is some funny news - TanToday Nashville photos are now appearing on other forums. Really guys, we are flattered that you thought so highly of our camera skills to hawk our photos on your site. It would be nice, as well as legal, to ask permission before you use photos that you do not have permission to use though. Few comments from various sites/threads regarding Nashville.

OMG!! I DONT KNOW IF IT WAS JUST ME OR NOT BUT MAN SOME OF THESE PEOPLE ACT LIKE EVERY SAMPLE THEY WERE GIVING OUT, WAS TAKING MONEY OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKETS!!!

WHO WAS THE STINGIEST BOOTH U CAME IN CONTACT WITH?

US: SYNERGY-LOVE THEIR PRODUCT BUT 1 SAMPLE PER SALON PER DAY!! GIVE ME A BREAK-THEY ARENT GIVING AWAY GOLD HERE!!

This was my 5th convention and I've seen a lot. The first couple years, the salon owners were flooding the floors. I was like...what's up with the suitcases? They were like kids on Halloween.

Lotion:
Who knows? It all looks the same. I thought the inscience booth was the best, and they were not screaming at you and throwing things. They also did not look like everyone else with shrink wrap crap.

I will tell you that on the show floor there were more luggage being carted from lotion booth to lotion booth then the entire Baggage Claim at the Nashville Airport.

That would be Terri Franssen of Highline Capital. She sat at our table for half the meal our last evening there and was pleasant company, not to mention easy.

ETS VELOCITY: The acrylic support is very thick. While it looks attractive, it completely blocks the bottom of your arms. Poor TomiSue.

TA SOLARIX: While not a fan of the "copy" I can't help but take note of how giddy Don is. Grandpa's got wood. I'm curious to see how it performs/meters. It is obvious that he has been hired by TA to meter/consult. But if he didn't think it was great, he would tell them, not us. Don's no dummy™.

VERSASPA: I have gone full circle. lol They tanned over 130 people (on the show floor) with no problems, and satisfied results. Over 50 T-MAX settings!!! wow. (Still slightly disapointed visually) BUT the bar is raised.

Jim: You can't kill 2 birds with one tooth whitener. Your idea of a client tanning for 20 minutes while using WHITESCIENCE is not feasible.

TOMELL: A salon owner (my competitor lol) who didn't read contract and notify buyout, caused disturbance while Tomell tried to write orders. (Told clients they are crooks, etc.) Fight started, cops called in. Salon owner KICKED out of hotel. (NJ is Soprano territory).

UWE I-BED: What with everyone saying it was $40K? Show price was $33K, or $32K with S-Class facials.

FUTURE INDUSTRIES: Won two (2) IST Industry choice awards. One for Web design, and Karen won for Lifetime achievement, or CPR (can't remember). Someone stole Karens statue from Future's booth during the show while it was on display. They only engrave the year (not name). So if you see Ron Poe, or Roger Brown, or anyone from HEX carrying one, call security.

MAX RECONE: Do you know that Max has raised/suckered almost 1 million (from salon owners) for his buyers group/stock market plan? He is also starting his own lotion line called "MR" (Max Recone). Basically like "CK" (Calvin Klein), but more trailor park/bingo hall. Heres a tip. Before you MR.... MRI. The only way this can get better, is if it is being bottled in SOAKIN UP THE RAYZ bathtub.
