| (Few thoughts pre-show set up/thursday night) VERSASPA. Looks better in pictures and video. (MUCH better) Needs repeating. Much better. MYSTIC. Has a "MyMist version" knock off of Magic's Versaspa. Looks like they got the idea and built it ON the airplane ride to Nashville. Mystic employee on airplane..."Hey, try to break off your tray table. I'll make an "M" with duct tape on it for our logo..." ISO COMPACT. Nice. But very compact. Wide, but short. Very Umpa-lumpa. KING. Has new shaped acrylic. HYDRATION STATION. No comment. I-BED/uwe HOT! Club sound system with 9 new style 250 watt facials that move/wobble. No hot spots, as strong as S-Class face without the heat. 4 minute after bronzer. Second generation misting system. ERGOLINE 360. Was covered. The small peek I got looked great. Picture in their new 900 page telephone book size brochure looks AWESOME. ERGOLINE open sun 550. HOT! MUELLER ICON. HOT! (Yikes, this sounds very Paris Hilton!) Thats NOT hot. lol It has been POURING non stop since I arrived Thursday afternoon. Is that a sign? PAGING JESUS... SOWER POWER! On my way to first day. Heard pre-registration numbers where less then half of last year. The "Tanners" where not all over the hotel as in the past. (Bars, etc.) |

However as I walked the floor, pockets of emptiness punched me in the face. (or was that the NJ ergo distributor)? lol RETRACTING SOME OF MY PRE-SHOW COMMENTS. ISO COMPACT. After seeing it illuminated and fired up, I like it as much as the pre show pics. Control panel and speakers are very futuristic. (Cool/chic Italian design) VERSASPA. S-L-O-W-L-Y warming up to it. As you may or may not know, there are many spray options on this unit. (Face/legs/full body/3 levels/3 solutions). If you spray just face or legs, you need to enter range of spray (inches), spray passes, drying cycle passes, amount of solution per spray. (I'm not making this up...) If their were 10 staffers at the booth, I think 2 would attempt to program. I never saw either of those 2 get it right on the first attempt. In all fairness, the unit always performed as programed ONCE programed correctly. The control panel/brain is one of the few expensive/impressive looking parts of the booth. Can't wait to teach my employee's the programing portion. (Turn to page 183...) The drying cycle is NOT heated air. Sprayed model was shivering during drying cycle. Was told prior to show there was NO over spray (spray outside of open cabin design). PAGING PINNOCHIO... Ergolines 360 is very sharp. However, not as innovative or unique as I would expect from them. Tan America's new matrix replacement unit SOLARIX is VERY original. :rollingeyesuntiltheypopoutofmyheadface: While it looks nice, one can't help but be embarassed by the lack of visual originality from the original. In a bizzare attempt at innovation, they created a special "October is Breast awareness month PINK SOLARIX model". (I'm not kidding). What better way to forget about breast cancer then by exposing your skin to uv light? Asked how the design was inspired, T/A replied... ..."One of our employee's was working on the ISO Matrix L-33, I mean Tan America SOLARIX while eating pink cotton candy. Not sure if eating too fast or too much started the reaction, but to settle his stomach, he quickly downed 2 bottles of Pepto-Bismal. Within minutes, he did a reverse yawn and the ISO Matrix L-33, I mean Tan America SOLARIX was covered in pink. While thrashing around refunding his snack, he cracked his head and blood swirled around creating "the ribbons". I started thinking...October/breast cancer/skin cancer/tomato/tomatto...and OHPAH." Drew (left), Don Smith (center), and Eric Woll (right) break bread, and dishes celebrating the creation of the October is breast awareness month PINK ISO MATRIX, I mean Tan America SOLARIX...OHPAH!" ![]() ETS Velocity: WOW! ETS has hit the ball out of the park. Only negative comment is the revised center exhaust stack. If you are lying on the acrylic, the area above you WAS open. In this revised version, an exhaust "Bridge" connects the 2 collumns together. Sort of mid body. On top of the back collumn is a large exhaust box to connect the hose. This is a bit clunky. Picture a grease trap on the roof of Burger King. (TomiSue just fainted...good thing she was wearing a leopard cat suit). However, the exhaust is only visible from the back of the unit. "IF" this unit performs, IT IS A WINNER!! |

| All Star Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: The Beach Posts: 101 | UV Paul sure got a different impression of Magictans Versaspa than I did. I spent quite a bit of time there yesterday as we purchased one prior to the show but wanted to learn how everything worked and see the unit in opertion doing multiple sessions. The booth in the back was tanning people all day non stop and it went very smoothly I thought. The thing that impressed me the most was the responce from people who used it very positive. I also watched 2 of the demos that the model did and they went very niecly and I saw no overspray at all. I had already done a sunless tan when we tried the uint in Cleveland so we did the anti-ageing soultion yesterday and it was great. The other thing we were impressed with was the new Designer Skin lotions awsome packaging. Was dissapointed with Supre. The Ergoline open sun is really cool thats for sure. |

I do feel the tanning results will be very good, or as good as you can get, and it will be a pleasent experience for the client. (That in itself is a small miracle). SOWER POWER™! However, you have stars in your eyes regarding a few issues. Quote:
As I have written earlier, I'm warming up to the booth and will probably purchase it as planned prior to seeing it. There is A LOT of excitement and energy on Magic Tans show floor. It is easy to miss the obvious. Did you think the control panel is involved? Yes or no? STEVE: "WHITESCIENCE" It is a small unit, slightly bigger then a cigarette box. 9 BLUE LED'S with a small exhaust fan. I heard the salesmen casually mention 600mn to someone during my treatment. He knows only goofballs care about that stuff, so probably no one questions it. (I have my meter with me. lol) I have done BRITE SMILE @ my dentist. (3 x 20 minute exposures with a bear trap in your mouth). This is more gentle/simple/"ghetto". But ghetto is a good way. GHETTO FABULOUS. LOL This is 2 x 12 minute exposure with a small tray in your mouth. VERY brite light. JIM: The show special is $5K. They feel you can charge $199 for a treatment. They let people try ONE 12 minute session @ show. (Which is what I did). | |

| All Star Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 198 | I do not see a difference after (1) 12 minute treatment. Of course the salesgirl said 4 shades. However I feel slight sensitivity today. The "real" treatment is (2) 12 minute sessions, and a secret 3rd if they complain in the next few days. I may have been more impressed if I did the minimum 2 sessions. BRITESMILE is 3 x 20 minute sessions. They claim this is 70% as effective. Is that enought? Britesmile in my area is dropping in price. My dentist charges $699.00 for lifetime usage. I don't think there is much (or any training needed). Probably include a video. No doctor needed. Any crack whore can do it. |
