| Looking around at some beds (i.e. Sungate, KBL etc...) They have lighting, neon, that light up the beds when not in use to make it more flashy looking. My VHR's have a vanity light bulb that doesn't do much at the front of the contoured acrylic to make it flashy. They last a few months and i'm replacing them. Although the bulbs are not that pricy, shipping them to me and all said and done they are costing me like $20 a light bulb that burns out after 3-4 months. KBL beds that i saw light up the entire bed inside and it's hooked up to the timer to shut off i believe when Tmax starts the bed. I've been looking around and investigating on how to light up my VHR's and my HP bed (front room) to make them more flashy. Especially in the evening to light up the salon when on display. Anyone do something like that.......nice looking, non noticeable and illuminate the bed a lot, colourful.....without looking tacky. ![]() ![]() As you can see, the cheesey vanity light doesn't do anything really........but the bed with the lamps on light up the acrylic nicely. Is there anyone on here that installed LED's or Neon any other lighting system on their beds to make them more appealing on display and at what cost? Thanks in advance.

The cool part is that you can change the look of your KBL bed by changing the lamp color in some cases(I've used green, yellow and blue). If you installed a ballast and lamp ends that accomodate the lamps used by KBL you're Dr. Kern could look pretty cool even when the lamps are not going. |

Possibly highlight the room accent much easier than changing the design of the unit? Even the small LAsers special effects units are just over $100 USD. IF you could couple this with an inexpensive Smoke/ Fog generator you could have a very exciting room to showcase the tanning units for a tiny investment. |

One of the small "portable" special effect lasers would really put a different emphasis on aparticular room. More importantly at a very low cost for the "Bang". |

Most beds don't have the clearance between the top and the lamps or under the front acrylic. How about putting one of those neon strips used under cars at the back hinge side of that Kern. They sell them at car parts stores. You'd need a converter perhaps. |

This could get you in trouble with some states, with UL listings, even with voiding your warrenty. I'd make some calls in your state and to your manufacturer before I did anything just to cya. |

Maybe it'll give them ideas on how to better their beds. Now all i need is a good idea on how to light it up!!!! Changing the appeal of the bed will not change the performance, therefor will not void anything. It's like adding lighting in your car.....that won't void anything. But i get what you are saying. That is the least of my concerns right now. But thanks. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. If you want to add just a bit more lighting, consdr the simple "Neon" placed on autos. very simple to install and just need asmall transformer to power system. Special effect lighting is used in many other environments. The Movie Cinema that I went to for years in Denver had great special effect lighting, Also the big Casinos in Lousianna have special effect lighting. I have even seen special Effect lighting in Car dealerships. I was think about Lasers. It seems something about the word "Laser" just peaks interest. and you can see a low level laser from OUTSIDE the rooms. Many of the larger salons I have seen have a driven "Energy" to them almost like a nightclub. Mine was more serene and Spa-like so I never got to experiment in that area. |

Just wondering if the LED's would be bright enough and give off the same effect as Neon. Don't want to see dots from the LED's......just want nice bright lighting to make the bed glow and stand out. Also will be lighting up the High Pressure bed as it doesn't have any lighting or effects to it. It stands out on it's own, but at night, if it glowed in Blue or something, it would be amazing. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity.
