What percentages do the dentists typically use? Anyone know? Also I thought the higher the percentage, the more sensitivity experienced? |

My take home kit from the dentist is 7% which is crazy for me after 3 days of using them. They are literally super sensitive for a week after. And they wonder why I have not refilled in the last year. __________________ Alan"America is too great for small dreams" - Ronald Reagan |

If it's 5 minute intervals, what's with all the 60 and 90 minute countdowns? __________________ ************************************************** ***************** Grammar Tip of the Year - Apostrophes are for condensing and belonging...NOT pluralizing. ![]() SandiGirl ~ Changing tanning forums one apostrophe at a time. | |

| Queen of Eyecones | Ok Chelle, this is for you! ![]() Carbamide Peroxide is a buffered Hydrogen Peroxide, with a longer shelf life and less sensitivity. CP is not regulated by FDA; however, HP is regulated by FDA because of the strength, sensitivity and acidic effects to the teeth. With our CP you will not get softening of the enamel. Also, HP has alcohol, which dehydrates the teeth, our CP does not, meaning you will not get the dehydration problems. Hope this helps. Both are peroxides. |
