Thanks |

| Moderator | You said GROSS $61k. Take out what it costs to run the salon yearly and what do they make? I bought my salon from the previous owners for $10k and that included the deposit on the building and 6 units. They grossed $73k their final year of biz (cant remember the other years prior to that). It aint worth more than that if they dont gross more than $100k+. __________________ |

| Moderator/Arbonne VP | There are guys out there who want to buy a salon for their wife or girlfriend. That is the kind of buyer you want to look for. Normally take your net profit and ask 2 times that and then negotiate. Kathe __________________ ![]() Please talk to me if you would like to bring a great line of skin care into your salon. If you're netting ON YOUR P&Ls $13k, yes you might expect to get $26k. IMO, list for $32k, expect to get $12-$20k. ETA: OK I see now you're wanting to buy... They're netting $17,500 a year, offer them $10k. They might take the low offer just to get out of the deal. Otherwise skip this salon. It will be more work than its worth -- is a year of your time worth $17k? I'd say you could make more, like delivering mail or answering phones... | |

| All Star Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: kenosha Posts: 59 | Like I have said they are asking 40k , but would it be rude to offer 25k , and would it be a good deal at 25 to 30k , as I said the beds are worth 25 to 30k demographs are 90 percent white and 100plus thousand people in area , I beleive it has only done around 60 because they do no advertising at all ! its all word of mouth. |

Any it wouldn't matter if the beds were worth $100k, if no one is coming in to use them (hence the very low gross) their worth is ZERO. I told you what I think is reasonable, as did Tanning Queen. I'd offer $10k or walk away. |
