|  New to airbrush tanning.. question.. Hi all, I'm a newbie so pls be nice! I have a compressor from back in my nail technician days, it's similar to this one I was just wondering if it's possible to use this for airbrush tanning and how I would go about this? Also is it possible to use it with a HVLP gun? I've noticed that they have much wider hoses, is there some sort of adaptor I can get? |

That compressor will not provide enough CFM (cubic feet per minute) of air to run a spray gun for tanning. Tanning guns are essensially the same used for automotive painting. The compressor you have is for an airbruch which shoots minute amounts of paint or solution. It would take you a couple of hours to cover a person (with all kinds of striping) as compared to a few minutes with a gun. For under a thousand bucks you can set yourself up with a total package of either an off brand tanning spray gun or at your local home center that supplies spray guns for painting cars and such. It is all the same crap. It will all shoot any solution. Don't let any of these companies tell you different. __________________      Three can keep a secret if two are dead.  |
