Default I've had it with Salontouch

They are clueless, well at least their reps are anyway.

What other software for tanning salons can also do Spa and Hair servics and realted transactions?

I give up, Salontouch is costing me to much revenue when they mess up. Hours = Money

Thanks

I used to love Suntouch. When I switched to salontouch I'm definitely not as happy. The customer service is just not what it used to be for that company. They don't return phone calls or emails anymore either. Wish I never would have switched.

Doesn't sound like many of us are happy with our CRM programs. . . .
We need a great one to meet our needs and support us.

I'm working on a new one. I've been pre-occupied with my work right now. I just finished a big phase of a project and my time might open up a bit

This will take time. Getting the database layout done right is key to performance. I started a thread in the software forum a while back asking for suggestions.

One of the biggest priorites will be to come up with a good way of accessing a tmax manager. Com manger is complete crap. I noticed my computer runnin slow. I see com manager is pulling upwards of 60% cpu usage

I just want to be able to do things easily and without issues. Nothing specific, I just don't want to even think about it.

Yep, the closer to "idiot proof" you can make it the better.

Hello EliteMike,

There is a version of the Com Manager that will allow you to turn off the globe animation. We have tested this and found that it will reduce your CPU usage and you should see a performance increase.

Please give SalonTouch a call at 877-725-6686 and we can help you.

Thank you for your time,
SalonTouch Salon Management Software

Hello Salon Touch, if you know this is a problem and that there is now a better way to use Com Manager, why have we not been notified. We pay for tech support and version updates. When talking to tech support sometimes we find out that we are several versions behind the most current.

Salon Touch, I should have added that I think you guys are the best in the business, but I do think we should be made aware of latest version updates when they become available.

Hello salon douche, I have had a few issues, one right from the get go. First of all, I found bugs in the program immediately that needed to be fixed. Techs at Salon Touch were not aware of these bugs at the time. Finally, when someone addmitted to the bugs, I was not allowed the upgrade that would fix the problems until I committed to a monthly maint fee of $49 for one year. Then I would get an actual "working copy" of the software without the bugs. I told the tech person that I paid for a working copy, but did not get what I paid for. He said, "I know. I agree with you, but my boss won't let me send it to you." I am not a software expert, but have used enough software programs to know that the Salon Touch software needs some polishing up and the Management needs to be more attuned to customers' software needs.

Get this, only the fist name of the customer is printed on the receipt.... Fine, but let me have a choice as to whether the last name or client # shows. If there is a way to fix this - great! Salon Touch told me, "sorry, it won't do that."

Also, I wanted to put another computer SIX FEET AWAY from the first one and I was told it would cost $649.00, then $549, because I have a service contract, but only if I renew for another year. I argued but I might as well have been talking to the wall.

Helios here I come, we are getting through a FTW, then see ya.
Unless Elite mike can get his fool proof by then.

Why should I have to call your tech support, updates should be available on your site.

Maybe you should just teach your programmers to put out good software from the start?? Now there's a thought. only updates that should come out are to add features. People NEED this software to work properly.

Fix things before I get my software done, I WILL be cheaper and offer better support. How can one person do this. It's called making a program that just works.. I won't charge people for every little add on feature either.

Really? Well that is funny then because I spoke to someone there about 2 months ago and also sent an email in directly from your website. I'm quite frustrated because I was told some things when I upgraded from Suntouch to Salontouch and apparantly those things are no longer true. I was told things in order to get the upgrade sale I believe.

In fact I was the very first person to buy Salontouch. I am not able to do any upgrades to it because for some reason I do not qualify even though the nice young lady who sold it to me promised that I would have unlimited support if I upgraded to the tune of $600.

What is most frustrating to me is that I had Suntouch for about 10 years and zero issues with it. Upgrade downloads were available on the website and I really didn't even call tech support at all. Once I upgraded, forget it. No free upgrade downloads. No answering simple questions and the program just isn't as user friendly.

I did call one time, probably the one 6 months ago, because I messed up my user passcode and couldn't log in and they did help me with that without charging me. That was nice.

I will be happy to call you on Monday to see if we can resolve this situation.

Reports that actually make sense for things you actually want to know. And downloadable upgrades. No rush Mike!!
