| Hi everyone. We have been opened just 1 week and are looking for ideas to attract customers. So far we get an average of 3 walkins a day --- most spend about $10.00. We are offering "Specials of the day" ....any suggestions? ![]() |

| Moderator | Well not much you can do to make people want to tan this time of year, indoors anyway. Do you have any money for marketing? Like maybe do a postard blast to the area to rpomote your new place? Maybe talk to other businesses to cross promote for now. Get any clients you do have to advertise for you. Offer referral bonuses to them for bringing in their friends. I hate to say this but I hope you have alot of money saved because you really wont see many people til the season starts in Feb/March. __________________ |

Run a new client special, such as 5 tans for $5 with a 10 day expire. Do SOMETHING to build a base. Give them a reason to try you out they can not refuse. Make them switchers and show then why you are better. If you are not better though it will backfire big-time. Last edited by tacotan : 21st July 2008 at 06:37 PM. |
