I signed up with Arbonne a while ago but haven't done a whole lot with it, now I am ready. After seeing how many of you have it in your salons, sounds like a good plan. But WHAT should I carry on a regular basis. I was thinking the detox line sine I also do body wraps. But is there anything else I should have onhand? I can't spend a lot this time of year to stock up my inventory, but do have a little to spend. Any advice is appreciated.

Hi. The best thing for you to do is get in touch with the person who signed you up and ask them to come into the salon and talk with you about your demographics, space and budget. They should be able to help you and get you trained and ready to go. Hopefully you signed up with someone that can help you.

Thanks! She has come in, her 1st recommendation was the aromatherapy stuff, so I do have some of that in. But I am ready to do more and use more space, get rid of the stuff that is not moving. So I thought you would have an idea for what would go with the tanning salon. I don't want to carry make-up. But should I do detox, skin care or body care? Or a little of each. DO you carry a large inventory or have them order. I know it doesn't take long to get it in, so I was thinking carry enough to draw attention and let them order.

If I was you I'd work on one line at a time, depending on your demographics. If you have more of an older clientelle, work on bringing in the RE9 stuff, if you have more younger, go with the Intellegence or the FYI stuff.

The seasource line will be good for everyone.

I say carry enough to sell it and reorder as they move. That is the nice thing about a storefront. THey dont have to wait for it. Instant gratification. I mean, why then buy it from you if they have to wait for it to come in? They can go to another rep and get the same thing. Sure, special order some things but keep stuff that is the "IN" thing on hand. Detox, skin care, etc.

I think it is hard for someone like Kathe to instruct you since she is not your sponsor. Not to be mean, but she has her own group she needs to help out alot and that is the job of the sponsor. Plus, I am sure she doesnt like to step on anyones toes.

You and your sponsor will know your demo's better and if she doesnt, see if someone above her has a clue about what is best for tanners.

definately the before sun line, spfs, lip care, bronzer sells out always for me, its a great compliment for tanners

Like TQ said it is difficult for me to step in and help someone on another team. Everyone has an upline and I've been told on other occasions to stay out of the way and let them run their team their way. I really don't want to step on any toes so I pretty much just work with my team.

What works in one salon may not work in another. Some basics though are the fizzy tabs, detox, bronzing powder & kabuki brush, and depending on the age group of your clients either the RE9 or AI skin care line. The basic 4 body care products are also good add on sales. International Tan does well with the SPF line, I am sporadic at it. It really depends on your location. We are consistent with the nutritional products, SeaSource Spa and Detox and the RE9 skin care.

Hope that helps a bit. Just FYI, if your sponsor can't help you, find out who your upline VP is and talk to them. If they don't help, find out who their upline VP is. Keep going up until you get someone to help you.

It's one reason that it's important to get started with someone that knows tanning and knows Arbonne.
