Yes. That is a big reason why we are giving them a month in advance notice. This way they'll know well a head of time.

They just don't think progressively.. besides this isn't a customer service business..

How will you adjust your packages for month clients? Are you going to add more days or just lower the price for the off season. Like if a client wants to tan 5 days a week but can only tan will you prorate the difference?

Not changing a thing at this point. Prices will be going up the end of this year so this is the way they get to keep the lower price.

See here Thurs is actually a good money day. Wens and Fridays are a little off.
Depends on people schedules. Hospital employees tan when they work which fluctuates depending on their shifts and over time. I could never cut my weekdays back that way. I would be sunk

I disagree. This is a customer service business. I believe one reason my salon is continually increasing in revenue is our customer service is superior to every other salon around me. I keep the same hours year round no matter what. I bend over backwards to accomodate the client because they are fickle and want to tan when they feel like it. It puts me head and shoulders above the other salons. I had a new client just a bit ago. One of her first questions was about my hours. It does matter to them.

Currently there is no set schedule we could follow. It's really a best guess as to what each day will be like. Fridays and Saturdays have turned back in to the money days, with Monday doing OK. The other days its all over the board.

Not bashing you Island but I know that I'll be here.....your reasoning is why I stay open on Sundays year round.....I will get your customers eventually.

I had planned to close our golf course in the winter for 3 months.....let's just say that it didn't go over to well....so then it was I will be open on the weekends year round......well, lets just say that someone is there everyday year round..... we live and learn.

I guess since we're not following everything a few here say we're somehow failing. That’s not the case but if it makes you feel better to think that, go right ahead.

I post these topics even though I know what kind of response I’ll get. Sometimes there is some good information that comes out of them that might help others. Usually though, there is a bunch of drivel to sort through…
