Default ITA Board Election

There are 3 positions open for the salon sector. Ballots have been mailed as of Aug 15. If you are a member of the ITA you will get a chance to vote. This should be interesting.

Default Re: ITA Board Election

You actually get 4 votes this time because there is one of the original seats up for re-election (currently held by ITA Board President and Congressional hopeful Dan Humiston) and then 3 new ones created this time. The highest vote getters will get Dan's 3 year term and the newly created 3 year term, the next will get a 2 year term and the final will get a 1 year term (so eventually they work out all up for a vote every 3 years like all the other seats).

A lot of VERY good choices to be sure!! Any way it goes down, I think the ITA will have some good voices to help move things along going forward.

That said, as one of the few women running (currently all salon sector reps are male) and one of the few "Mom & Pop" (currently all salon sector reps have 30+ stores, as do several of the new candidates running), I am hoping you will consider a vote for me as "ONE" of the four.

Voting is very brief, so as soon as you get your ballot, mark it and send it back or you may miss the deadline!

Thanks for your consideration!

I am sending out emails to the people that are running. I need to know how they feel on a very serious matter that is happening in my state. Georgia being a non-regulated state. When I get their answers then I will decide who I will vote for.
