Default My unlimited package

Well even though its a little too late to go back and change this I just wanted to get everyones opinion. I raised my prices December 1st last year of most of my packages, but goign off the formulas for unlimited ppricing I found on here, I thought my month was too high, so I brought it down $10.

Doing this has pretty much doubled my revenue from the package, without hurting revenue from my other packages. (stayed about the same even with the price change). I was worried that it was screwing me basically because people were using it more.

The cost per tan average with my unlimited for before I raised prices was $4.57, after I raised prices $4.07. Did I make a good move in lowering the price or no?

for one, you are not talking cost per tan. Although, that is something you have to take into account. how many times has it been used on each pricing structure. Remember you cost is a lot more than just the electric of the beds.

so let me get this straight, your revenue after your price deduction per session is $4.57, but your operating costs doubled, but you haven't told us what the operating costs are.

Either I'm tired and confused or you are confusing costs and revenue

So are you saying you're making more $$ since you lowered your unlimited package price instead of less? Meaning more people bought the lower priced package & it didn't hurt the sales of your other packages?

I think she is saying the opposite. It looks like her averages fell with the lowered price.
However, you need to take into account the quantity it has delivered and increased revenue do to additional lotion sales, add-ons, etc.
It sounded like your business increased in other threads.
Mike is seems to be good at that..I'm sure he will help.

My concern was that I was losing money because people were using the lower priced package a lot more than the other one. But they actually weren't. Which is good. I think it just felt that way because I had so many more monthly packaegs sold.

My other concern was that my other packages would be hurt. Although I didn't sell as many of my other packages, the prices had been raised so I made the same, if not a little more off those packages. So all in all I think I did good with my price change... (at least thats what mike says, I can't tell hehe)

So what was the previous price before you dropped it $10 & on which bed/level? Or you can PM me if want instead. I am in the process of restructuring my pricing/brochures. Thanks!!
