I got this idea from our teeth whitening system. It came with a digital photo frame and shows all about the system and how it works. So I went and got one for the other side of the desk. Took some pics of all our beds - and it scrolls thru so customers can see all of our equipment. Just in case the beds are full and you cant show the bed!!!

Anyone else do this? Works great!

What a great idea..
You could do it with a lotion feature of the week, beds, promotions, "Why tan", Vit D benefits.

Going to get a frame.

Exactly!!! So for those that are worried about your products walking off. But you know what they say about the touch and smell thing!

Saw some big ones at Sams about a month ago! Very reasonable!!

Why wasn't I thinking about this after Christmas when they were all 90% off (almost free) just to take them out of the store.

Yeah, it's called an LCD HDTV connected to a computer running a Powerpoint presentation.

Some even have card slots so you can just plug in a camera memory card and it will slideshow by itself.

You can buy an LCD for cheaper than that frame, and it would be larger too and have built in speakers.

true, but if i'm hanging it in my front window aimed at the street for people outside, i dont' want to run cables and have a computer dedicated to running slideshows.

I can put it on an SD card or USB key and load up the images and monthly specials etc....and have it go through it. With a TV, you can't do that. Having a dedicated computer would cost about the same and then you have cables etc going through the salon.

Most picture frames have speakers too....not that i'd use them.

Din - You can burn a powepoint presentation to a DVD and use a small DVD player.
There is a free program online you can use...... not sure of the name of it.

and you can loop that 2 min slideshow to keep playing over and over with a DVD player? From what i know. Once it stops, you gotta press play again.
