Default Thinkin of swapping a sunless booth for a HP unit...

We have a sunless booth that we have made about 3k on so far this year. The location it is at does not have an HP bed. We do have an HP bed at another location and it has made us a little over 16k so far this year. I am thinking of selling the sunless booth and buying an HP to replace it, but I'm a little worried about not having sunless services in our portfolio. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Does your location with HP also offer sunless and if so, what's your revenue to date?

3k in a year means LOSE IT. Or learn how to promote it.

16k means you still have a lot to learn about selling hp as you can do that much on one HP bed in 45 days (in season) if you promote it correctly.

How many people would you piss off by eliminating sunless?
that is averaging 1 sunless customer per day.

I think, or I know, that you can average 7 or 8 hp customers a day easy easy easy at an average price of 20$ a visit. Average.....whole year average..not the first 200 days of the year where you will average higher.

Get an HP unit & an Portable Airbrush system. Airbrush has much better results with less hassle. The Hp will definitely generate more money.

4 Comments - All on target. $3k vs $16k with both not promoted to their full potential. No brainer here - HP and if you think those $3k worth of customers will be pissed, by a hand held spray unit with a popup backdrop and call it a day.

If you go this route here is a tip, hire a girl to do it. Don't do it yourself or you will be spraying all the time and never get a break. This is the one draw back I have had to not having a booth

Glotanning...what hours would/do you have the "spray girl" working?

In regards to promoting properly if anyone has a specific idea they would like to throw out I would appreciate it. I've tried giving free sessions to customers purchasing lower end packages, Val-pak, e-mail marketing, etc.

Thanks again for all the advice!

Better hurry up Jonathan. October is a kick as busy time and you will need two spray units.
