| Still a Rookie | they are going to mass produce tons of salons that aren't needed and watch them fall apart, or they are going to charge an outrageous franchise fees for their name...500 salons in 5 years, really...everyone on here talks about how we are already over saturated with salons, but these guys think that they can do it because of who they are...really. |

| Moderator/Arbonne VP | Blech! I can't stand how they run their salons. I wouldn't have even one of their employees working for me. Way too much drama going on. __________________ ![]() Please talk to me if you would like to bring a great line of skin care into your salon. CLICK HERE to learn more. YES! | Moderator | What kills me is that they are sitting there saying "Wow! What a GREAT business model! I love how they run their salons and they have model employees. I think I will invest tons of money in them and be a franchisee." How can anyone look at them and think it is a good idea to invest? __________________ |

For someone that owns that many Subways I am sure he knows they don't really run their places like that or no way he would sign that. | |

| Super Star Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: USA Posts: 615 | LA Sunset Tans has a tanning business. An agent contacted the owners and said "Your salon will make great TV. Let me make some calls." A production company said to the agent "You're right. This will make great TV. Here's a check." This production company sold this show to a TV network. The TV network is, in my area, on basic cable. If you think of everything that happened to go from their salon to our TV screens ... it's a combination of luck and working with skillful people along the way.. Is anyone really suggesting that the LA Sunset Tans owners should NOT try to strike while the iron is hot?? |

| Moderator | No one is faulting the owners of Sunset Tans at all. In fact, quite the opposite. I am faulting the idiots that are investing in it. They are the ones I question. The owners are smart to capitalize on this short lived fame they are getting. Wont be happening for long. THat show is too dumb and people are going to see the truth eventually. Maybe after they invest their fortune from Subway. __________________ |
