|  Bar code scanners for Salontouch Do you use one? If so, do you like it? Is there one you would rather have? Are they USB and if so, will any of them work with Salontouch? Thank you in advance

Personally, I purchased an Orbit scanner. It has a flat-mount and the bar-code can be scanned in any direction. When i bought it, i THOUGHT it was usb, but it was some weird type of usb that also required a power source. (I forget what it is called.... but the usb-powered card cost me another $120 ). I only use my bar codes for product. If i had set it up to scan services, i would have preferred to get a bar code gun that was more portable. |

So far it has been great, it connects with a simple USB, and now I print all of my bar code labels for product etc directly from salon touch. I even purchased my gift cards from salon touch - I sent them a business card and they took it from there, all the cards will be scanned at purchase and I'll be able to set the amount then. Shauna |
