| Hey all, I've just recieved my new (to me) beds and got them disassembled and moved into my salon. As I disassmlbed my biggest and most complex bed (KBL America 6800) the amount of wiring there was underneath had my head spinning, all of which was unplugged. They seem to be labelled in some way. Is it possible for someone with very limited technical knolwedge of tanning beds (myself) to hook this up and have this bed work fine? Or should I jsut save myself a lot of heartache and get a tech brought in from somewhere and do all that? If I do need a tech, does anyone know where there is one even remotely close to me (New Brunswick)? Will I need one specifically from KBL America, or will most tech's be able to fix pretty much any bed? The bed has a lot of cool features, and I want to make sure that I utilize all of them. Thanks guys, I'm kinda stressin about this, any help would be appreciated. |

Closest would probably be Quebec.....but maybe in Halifax. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. I put a Diva 6 (same thing as a 6800) together a few months ago and he was awesome, that guy is the guru! I've put a lot of Tan America stuff and Prosun stuff together but that bed is a whole different animal. He walked me through all the crap that I had no idea about. He knows those things inside out. I'm sure he loves me offering up his assistance, sorry Brian. |

That's my best advice. __________________ ![]() www.ChronosMarketing.com ____________________________________________ The problem nowadays is stupidity. I'm all for it, if it needs to be done. Brian, is that do-able, and what kind of $$$ are we talking? besides the travel costs of course. Thanks for the advice guys |

May the force be with you! |

So it's even more fun ![]() did you get all your help from Brian just over the internet? That would be ideal.....of course if it needs to happen I will fly a tech down here....but obviously, it'd be nice to not spend that $$$ if I don't need too |

There is no substitute for an experinced tech like Brian but if you don't try you'll never learn is my theory. It took me a full week of lying under that bed with a flashlight and a cocktail to put it together but now I know the ins and outs, kinda. I can honestly say though that without Brians help via PM's I would have doused that b*t#h with charcoal fluid, stripped down naked (remember I was drunk most of the time), lit it off, and sang "Burn'n Down The House". |

The we started looking at that thing, the manual says 6-8 hours for disassembly, it was about 10 degrees and snowing at about 6 pm. I made an executive decision, we put it on four dolleys rolled it through the double doors and cut open the wall surrounding the door, and rolled it right in place. Reframed the single door to a double , repainted that side of the salon, and looks great. KBL's main tech is Jason, here is his cell he is great also: 314-409-7945. Really nice guy. Who did you buy it from? Have them help and or send someone, mine was a REPO so I had fun, getting it from canada to the states, ect. ect. good luck great bed cust love it |

I've got Heraus 23/160 in the canopy and Bronzing Sun Plus in the bench and at 12min people line up for it. All you "BIg City Folk" don't start laughing, no such thing as HP in these parts so my Diva 6 is Queen of the hill. Keep at it but don't apply power until you think you have everything where it needs to be. You'll get it, I have faith. |
