Ok we have been selling aton of monthly unlimited, my pricing is 45, 55, 65, 75 single sessions are 8, 10, 12, 15 seems to me that I am selling way to many monthly's are these prices to low? Will it hurt us in the long run by selling to many?

Our base beds are 7$ a session and $60 a month package. So $8 is good but $45 seem low to me.
How do your "unlimited"packages work? Would you define "monthly unlimited" for me? Unlimited to me means they can use any piece of equipment for one price. If it were me, that would mean only the $75 package is "unlimited". Is that the case or is your $45, $55, $65 packages truly "unlimited" as well? I wont sell any "unlimited packages". Mine All have limits. |

All our packages are unlimited use for the month of 31 days. So if they have our platinum for 75 dollars they can use any bed for 31 days, but if they have our bronze package for 45 they would have to pay an upgrade fee per session to use the better beds.

That is what I had assumed about your packages but they are not "unlimited". They are all quite limited except maybe your highest price package.
I know, I am nitpicking. This is not directed at you personally but I think we all really need to stop with the "unlimited" word. It has become vernacular in the tanning field and it is stupid in my opinion. There can only be one Unlimited package and that would be your highest price package that includes tanning in any and all your tanning equipment with no added fees. That is unlimited. IMO |

The problem I see with offering a package that is only good at one level is:
What happens when a client has a package/unlimited for the highest level of equipment and when they stop into tan that level isn't available? There is no higher level to upgrade to, so going down is the only option other than waiting. Do you charge them for a single session in the lower bed/Sell them another package/Use the package on their acct, when ultimately they paid more so they could use the highest level? Just curious? Our unlimited is good for base then pay upgrades as you go in other equipment. |

18$ a session is 558$ for 31 days. You sell it for 99$ a month?
I am curious, how did you come up with this figure? I am too greedy and would probably have to double that. I ask because I am trying to figure a monthly price for my 12 minute bed. Right now we sell for $10 a session or if you have a month @$60, its 4$ per tan or just buy 10 sessions for $85. I'm thinking $99 a month sounds pretty good for my situation. My problem is we only have the one 12 minute bed. Right now we don't sell monthly in this bed because it is the only one and might create a waiting line. Should I want a waiting line? |

DB,
THe all inclusive package is just that. It includes ALL the beds. So if the highest one isnt available, they can choose to use a different one or wait. But it doenst limit them to only the top level. You wont see a problem with people asking about that for the most part. If they do, you just say you have access to all the beds with that package, feel free to use a different level or wait for the top one to open up. You just dont sell it ias a one level per price. So if you got lowest priced deal, it is only base beds. NExt best deal, includes level one and level 2. Best deal, level 1, 2 &3. I am sure you get my drift. ![]() |

You have 4 levels right? Is your 12 minute level 3 or 4? No matter.
at $65 a month or even $75 it still seems a bit cheap to me. I would wait for the bed too if I had that package. If your level 4 is $75 a month and you sell it for 15$ a session, Thats $465 in single session price for a month. At $75 that is 2.40 a tan, so you are letting people tan in your 15$ a session bed for $2.40 a tan? How can you make any money? maybe I am not figuring in something? |

esun, We had to price it at $85 because of the chain. They have the same bed. The price was $125 we are offering it for a special $85. The chain is 2 minutes from my place. We don't push the month specials. We push eft's and sun dollars. I would like to do away with eft's and monthly's.

No one will come in every day for that month. Most will come 2 - 3 times a week. Some more, some less. From our experience figuring 3 a week, or 12 sessions a month works well. So a $75 monthly package would equal out to around $6.25 a session on average. |

Yes we have 4 levels, Bronze, silver, gold, platinum Yes I thought the same but I was told there is a formula to it. take your single session cost (15) times 6 and that should be around the monthly price! I just raised it today to $90 amonth!
