Anyone on here remember when we could not be open enough hours ?
I use to be open 6 am til mid night.

The first salon that I ever worked for actually had many days where they were literally open 24 hours. This was back in the early HP days and people were literally booking appointments in the middle of the night because they were booked solid all day, every day. The posted hours at that time were 4am to midnight and that still wasn't enough. Those beds (3 of them) were booked weeks in advance with a "stand by" list to call if someone dared to no show or there was going to be enough space in between two appointments to squeeze in another person. We were doing that all day and all night long! LOL just remembering this.

^^^Yup, we had 2 818's about 12 years ago that were booked all day and night long. Opened as early as 8am and stayed as late as midnight. Had standby lists as well. Those beds were champs, still in operation when I sold them a few months ago. Those were the good old days when tanning salons used to make money.

Yes in the beginning we were open from 7 am to Midnight and we still couldn't fit everyone in to tan. We had people waiting for beds at 11:30 pm. Crazy!

i remember tanning at like 2am when i was younger since that was the only appt my salon i tanned at had open! crazy

True, but also like everything else it will come back again! Just like bellbottoms. They were popular in the 60s & 70s and then they went out,....but they came back again in the late 90s.

I like to think on the positive side! Just because its not "like it used to be" doesn't mean it won't be that way again....OR that it won't come back bigger and better!!!
