Mine is 21. Not because of the law. Just my way of doing things.

Being in a college town I have a lot of 19 year olds who apply. Some work out and some don`t but that is the way it is no matter how old they are.

Last year (1st year as owner) I had 2 16 year olds...they were HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! This year all of my girls are between 18 and 21, and I have a really good group. They're all in college, need the money, etc.

Sparky,
Mine is 3 1/2 and she has to clean the bed for me and then "tan" for about 2 seconds! Makes me smile every time she says it's time for her to "tan" now!

Not all younger workers are horrible. I try to hire the ones who need the money like those who have another job. This decreases on my flexibility a bit, but I know they are responsible and reliable. Plus, I started at the solon at 16, became manager at 17 and was general manager at 20...
