Exactly, my main point was, with less clients upgrading and I see that happening, it is going to be very difficult for large lease payments, due to their entry pricing which more and more may be using.

I believe the entry level fees, the low draw concept, could hurt them tremendously.

Great for them, mine are $6 and going up to $7.
Like I stated, it's ultimately hard to sell upgrades right now, but if it's working for them, more power.

I'm not stating that the chains that have many multiple salons are not doing good.
What I am stating is, you never know what's happening behind closed doors.

I have 4 salons, some people with only 1 may be profiting more than me with 4.

There was a time 4 years ago that had I only had 2 stores instead of 4 I would have made a lot more money.

One thing I notice at large chains is dead lamps.

I've heard the same thing Drew from our customers, not just the chains but many single locations, some that have been around for a very long time.

I wonder if many are waiting to re-lamp until just before busy season.

I believe some chains may do this intentionally on lower end beds in order to create more upgrades.
Bad idea, It will eventually ruin their image.

I think many of them can't keep up...and maybe don't even know when lamps are dead. They may just change them every 1000 hours or so.

That's the exact reason I dropped some locations, I came to realize my quality was suffering.
I have an outstanding staff of Managers, and a great General Manager, but no one runs your business like you do.

I am now in the position to stay on top of EVERYTHING, before it was impossible.
